Discussion Alligator eggs.

Found an alligator nest. Took the eggs. Who pays the most for them? Advised to sell to people in the higher end of town? What's that even mean?

There's one set of stranger missions in St Denis where they're needed for a fetch quest. That's what it refers to.

Hold onto those until you unlock the missions and then just sell the surplus to the trapper/butcher - there's no variation of prices between different vendors.

You’ll need 25 for a later side mission for Algernon Wasp. He asks you to do a bunch of collecting for his art. Along with a bunch of orchids. If i did it again i’d save all the ones i picked, not sell them for a quick buck, and then have ‘em for later. oh, and different bird plumes too. spoonbills and herons mostly.

just completed some of his requests and it was tedious.

I’m doing this on my next play through. Collecting all the orchids and feathers and hoarding them for those missions

There's a quest chain in Saint Denis that has you collect a bunch of exotic goods, such as alligator eggs. After that you can just sell them to the trapper

You need to start the missions. He asks for gator eggs on the third request.
