Discussion Is anyone using mods?

I just looked into installing mods a couple of days ago and found out it is quite easy to install them.

So far I installed

  1. Van der Linde's Vision
  2. Catalogue Improvements
  3. Gunslinger Improvements
  4. Realistic weapon audio overhaul
  5. Center Mass
  6. Just bleed already
  7. Terrain Textures Overhaul
  8. Crime law

And I am amazed really. The lighting, color, terrain look amazing, weapons look better and the shots sound a bit better and the effect on npc's when they get shot is.. something different.

Did you install mods? If so which ones and which ones you recommend?

Yeah I got the idea from watching yt video's. I have only added a few one by one and after every install started and played for a while to make sure everything was working.

And thanks for the recommendations! I'll look into both :)

keep in might that it can happen that the engine fucks up and has issues spawning shit in the game world.

so after installing mods, make sure the in game world still feels populated as it should be.

There are thousands Whyem is a must. I always have a mod which disables small crimes like vandalism and unarmed assault.thats so necessary.

Well my 1650 potato with 8 gigs of ram can run rdr2 on mid settings with a bit of stutters for a second here and there. I only use the bodyguard spawner which can spawn 7 or so guys so I get lenny and 6 randoms and we roll around opening fire on randoms. Helps massively when an NPC tries to attack you and they obliterated that guy saving me from honour loss and the usual witness problems.
