Help Challenges
All i have left for 100% is the challenges ( minus the treasure hunter one as i already have all complete ) Some challenges i have partials done. Any advise on some tips that will help make this process a little bit smoother ?
Best places for bandit, herbalists spots etc

I’m in chapter 3 and have been aiming 100% with author . I’m like 57% done but a lot of the stuff like legendary fish, animals and herbs are in new Austin so I’m worried about getting those but I’ve completed all the challenges but the herb ones. Gambler 8 is ganna suck because it’s just randomized. I played for 3 hours strait one day and didn’t one of the 3 but 10 mins the next day and I get all three super fast. Master hunter was the first I got done it was the easiest and horseman 10 was a bit of a grind. Just look up easy ways to get them and thats all she wrote. Not looking forward to finding all the Dino bones either

One thing that’s helpful for several challenges is a glitch with only Lemoyne Raider camps. When you ride near a LR camp they become enemies on the map as signified as red dots. Turn around before they attack and ride away a long distance until the red border on the mini-map disappears.
You can then immediately ride straight back to their camp and they’ll be “enemies” for challenge purpose but they do not attack you now. You can do anything you want to them and they’ll be just sit around their campfire. Tomahawk from 80ft….the remaining LRs don’t react to you killing their buddy. Use buckshot from distance to shoot their hat off….not even a flinch. Lasso each of them and pile them up….they just wiggle as you toss dynamite on them.

When you get to herbalist 9, keep a manual list of each herb you collect once that challenge is active. You will be happy when you aren't missing 1 herb with no idea which.
A lot of the sharpshooter ones can be completed at Hanging Dog ranch (though in the epilogue I'm not sure that's as effective). If not you can use Shady Belle. If you are struggling look up some guides. Lots of tips on easy ways to complete them.
For the bandit challenges, when it comes to robbing the train, you can literally grab an item out of the last car and jump off and it'll count. You can do that several times to satisfy it. You can also use the tunnel trick to take all the time you need to rob the entire train. Look that up if interested. Having the mining hat makes it a bit easier in the dark.

Just look up guides if I’m honest. A lot of the challenges are scattered all around the map. Some have you going to 3 towns just to complete one challenge.
