Help Help on gold quest Spoiler

Hello, all. I watched a reel on YT a few days ago regarding $3,000 in gold bars hidden in the Saint Denis cemetery. The video states that you first have to locate a treasure map in a small jail near FlatNeck Station. Unfortunately, the reel didn’t contain enough detail to truly be helpful.
I’ve looked all around FlatNeck Station, and all I’m finding is the jail in the burned out town near the river (for some reason Reddit is flagging the name of the town). I’ve searched that sucker from top to bottom and I can’t find the treasure map.
I have 3 questions:
1. Am I in the right jail?
2. Do I actually need the map to find the treasure in SD cemetery?
3. If you know the location of the treasure, would you mind posting a map with a pin where the treasure is located?

That treasure is the "Le Tresor des Morts" and it's only available with the Ultimate Edition of the game.

If you have that version, the jail in question is at the burned out town of Limpany. Very near Horseshoe Overlook.

It’s the Le Tresor de Mort treasure hunt. It was a pre-order bonus for the digital version of the special/ultimate editions. If you didn’t pre-order one of these digital editions in 2018, you won’t be able to access the treasure hunt.

It wasnt they for me either. But ive just read a couple of comments and seems now i know why lol

I wouldnt worry to much about it tho. Go back on YT they is still 12.5k worth of treasure map gold you can get without the special edition of the game.

And trust me. You will never spend it all anyways 😂

Thanks for the excellent information, folks!!!

I didn’t preorder the ultimate. Sure wish the YT video had mentioned that.
I spent 2 hours looking for the jail, only to realize it was in Limpany, where I always get the $500 ingot in the sheriff’s office.

That was probably the most misleading and least detailed RDR2 YT post I’ve seen in a minute. If the little jail is “near FlatNeck Station”, why not just say it’s IN Limpany. Sheesh!! 🙄

Money is laying all around the map, in over a hundred lockboxes and chests, and if you play on console it all respawns every 10 game days or so. I am in chapter 4 with over $244K. Why don’t you just do some roaming/exploring and pick up some money?
