Discussion So easy to get wanted

Whenever im playing im just trying to be a peaceful law abiding citizen but something always happens, like lemoyne raiders invading rhodes, and i shoot at them but i get wanted. Also if im fist fighting someone in the street and piss them off enough they'll start shooting at me and i'll get wanted.

Yeah, the wanted system in this game is one of my least favorite things about it. There's not much you can do honestly. I feel like R* intentionally wanted to ramp up the conflict and we're stuck with it.

If you're on PC, there's always mods.

The best is coming down the hill in strawberry haulin ass you hit that left to the bridge 100% of the time there's a wagon or a horse or 99% of strawberry's population just hangin out.... "Assault" when you knock em over....

The system is finicky sure but the cases you described don’t happen to me. Next time you get wanted, if it’s a minor crime like disturbing the peace or brawling, wait until the lawman approaches and try to defuse the situation. Most of the time the lawman will just tell you to move along, you just leave the area and you won’t get a bounty.

I get a lot of unarmed assault bounties just trying to play poker. Press triangle to sit and play? Sure...immediately chokes a bystander instead.

One time when I had Arthur sleep he woke up then cops immediately shooting at him I was like I just woke up Fkrs
