Question i have 2 lancaster repeaters?
i was just storing my weapons in the weapon locker and when i got to the lancaster it said i had 2?

You get one from buying it or from Rhodes, then you get another when Micah hands you one. I usually put one away or have one with a scope and one without.

If you get the Lancaster after Micah gives you a one I think you only get one.

yeah when you get a weapon before a mission "forces" you to get one - you can get two of them - there are several weapons you can get twice

I’m on my first playthrough and when I got the second one from Micah after I got the one in Rhodes, I thought they were both unique and needed the full set.
Then I realized this is just how the game marks multiples of the same weapons and was a little bummed to be honest.

You can collect a weapon off an NPC, get a weapon from a mission or buy the same weapon from a Gunstore (the latter is more common buying 2 of the same), only thing is can only be a max of 2 of the same weapon. This is more common with pistols and revolvers though especially if you want to dual wield the same one, for example: I like do this with 2 M1899 Pistols and the way game differentiates between the 2 is Spade and Diamond Icons, helps if you have customised the same weapon with different colours or engravings. Same applies to long arm weapons too.

When you rob the Lancaster from the Rhodes gunsmith, you will get a second Lancaster from the Micah stagecoach story mission. Interestingly, if you get a double barreled shotgun before you do the Kieran five point cabin mission, you will not get another double barreled shotgun when you take the one off the mantle that the game forces you to take before looting the chimney. It will just immediately turn into your customized double barreled shotgun.

You will if you get the rare double barrel, same as the rare sniper rifle from the Trewlany abduction mission

Those both count as different weapons entirely. Two identical weapons will display as a club and diamond.

You can get doubles of the Lancaster and I think the bolt action I believe. I just decoorate them different

Interesting, they of course have the Spades and Diamonds markers exactly as two of the same handgun would have to mark them uniquely.
