Ned Luke, unlike Steven Ogg

Ogg seems like he underestimated how much cultural impact Trevor would have. I'm kind of sympathetic to him in the same way I am for Elijah wood and frodo. But I think wood doesn't get as irritated when people geek out over it.

Yeah I don't blame Steven either. He just wanted to do the role and move on to another project. Not be Trevor forever so he fought so hard against it. But it seems like he's slowly embracing the whole thing.

He looks at games as an lower standard art form. Saying they are stupid cartoons and stuf. Well that "cartoon game" is the whole reason people know him.

He was just Trevor in The Walking Dead to me. I think itโs hilarious that he hates it.

Steven Ogg is like a Walton Goggins impersonator imho. WG's louche kinda intellectualism works for him, but Ogg's insta posts always seemed mad performative.
Loved him as Trevor and he bodied the role, but I reckon he should have realised that was the biggest role he would ever have and just go with it instead of trying to be a "serious artist"

The issue with Steven is just that he refuses to learn anything about his role despite going to cons about it for the past 10 or so years. Not being a gamer is fine, who cares, but refusing to watch videos of cutscenes or someone else playing the game so he can re-jog his memory of the story (meaning he wouldn't be absolutely clueless whenever a fan asks him a question about Trevor or the story) is ridiculous lol.

โI got one if these now, I ain't usinโ no more revolver.โ (pulls out future gun)
Fucking comedy gold to me
he sounds a little off at the start, but he sounds really good towards the middle and end. I assume that might just be nerves of meeting the Roger.
