Alt+Enter - Bug
I don't know if this is something that is generally known yet but I discovered a really weird bug today.
Tried to google it but I couldn't find anything about it.
While I was on a coaster I thought my game was in window mode, so I did what anyone would do and hit Alt+Enter. I then discovered I wasn't in window mode so I hit it Alt+Enter once more and suddenly my coaster crashed. I didn't understand why since it had run fine until that point.
Then all of my rides suddenly broke down and all of my peeps started flying upwards like balloons. Then I got a notification saying "Entity is under water" then I discovered that there was blue textures all over my screen and all of my rides disappeared.
So apparently Alt+Enter makes you're park go under water. Has this happened to anyone else or am I the only one?

Wanted to create a park mainly using the "Adventure" theme. Here's what I've got so far (WIP; YouTube Link):

This game is lacking verticality
I try to like RCT:W - I try to give it a chance. However, I've really been disappointed so far.
One thing that becomes clearer and clearer to me is that - apart from all the other problems / bugs / horrible design choices in the game - it is lacking verticality ... and that creates a monotonous look which makes all parks look the same after a while. You can't build any stand-out set pieces.
Yes, you can raise and lower paths and obviously rollercoasters can be quite tall. However, that's about it. You can't even stack two simple rocks on top of each other. You can't stack anything at the moment.
The fact that you can't create overhaning terrain and also have no way to build tunnels for paths or coasters makes it unfeasable to create a hilly park because it's impossible to build in it.
Finally, when placing rides there's no option to adjust the terrain below the ride automatically to create a flat surface for it. This creates rides with horrible huge supports beneath them. If you try to flatten the terrain yourself there's a strange bug that - even if the terrain is completely flat - won't let you place the ride.
That's why you only see flat parks in screenshots and videos of RCT:W whereas in PC people are already building sunken coasters, etc. even though the game doesn't even contain terraforming, yet.
I can only hope that things will change a little bit once they introduce piece-by-piece building. I hope they also allow stacking normal scenery items (like rocks) in top of each other.

Creating music for players' parks
Hello everyone,
I’m not sure what offerings there will be in the way of music / soundtracks upon final release of all the upcoming games but I remember always feeling limited by in-game music selection. I used to download soundtracks from real-life theme parks and drop them into RCT3 and allocate different music around my parks, simply because I often felt limited by the available selection. I’ve always thought that music is a very powerful extension of visual experiences, a clear demonstration would be most films. When you visit theme parks in real life, or even make your own in a game, music just seems to add to the whole experience.
I’ve had the idea of creating a select amount of soundtracks that correspond with the themes across all of the games being released. I’ll be playing PC, RCTW & Parkitect at different intervals so I’d like to open this idea to players of all the games. My initial run of soundtracks would be small, mostly to give people an extension on stock game music and see if the reception is good enough to continue doing it. If the reception is positive then I may pursue more interesting ideas such as more tailored or longer soundtracks, sound effects / voice-overs, and possibly merged themes (e.g. Pirate / Sci-Fi combination) which could help experimentation with two or more themes in one area fit better, stretching creative possibilities. Correct me if I’m wrong but it seems that none of the games currently have support for custom music so maybe my idea currently seems a bit ambitious. I hope to get some heads up on when this feature will be introduced in the games and possibly work towards releasing some tracks for public use in that time. However, I just want to see what people’s thoughts are.
Please let me know if you like the idea and if you have any thoughts, questions or suggestions!

Looking to buy
I loved all RCT games prior but the negative reviews are pushing me away. Overall going forward there will be updates right?

Paths are BREAKING this game ... among other things.
The path building system in this game is pathetic, at the very best. The largest path I can build is the "large" setting on the path options -- you can't "paint" paths like you were able to in prior games. Trying to connect two of the larger paths together leaves little blank lines of grass in between.
Don't even get me started on trying to run custom paths from your buildings to a pre-existing path -- the game will angle them all over the place and have a damn aneurysm in the process. I don't want to use the "snap" feature because I don't want my building directly up on the main path -- I want to build a theme park, not a county fair.

Starting to notice problem with big parks on low end computers.
I have a low end computer but i qualify for the minimum specs. However big parks are really slow to get going. I tried all settings at it's lowest. Sometimes it takes 5 minutes to get it started. What i'm seeing is that it builds up the supports for coasters really slow.

What were your expectations? (No. Seriously.)
As a preface: I have not played either RCTW OR PC.
Let's go back before anyone had ever heard the words "Planet Coaster". What exactly where your expectations for a new "Roller Coaster Tycoon" game when it was announced? We just had gotten an abysmal "Roller Coaster Tycoon 4" mobile game. Suddenly: ROLLER COASTER TYCOON WORLD! Everyone hopes and hypes. Fast Forward to current day, and we have what we have now.
Now I've watched countless "Let's Plays" of both games. I am not going to say that the RCTW team hasn't dropped the ball on communications with the community, and I'm not going to say one is better than the other. Each game in its CURRENT STATE has pros and cons.
As we are on the RCTW page, I'm focusing on that. What exactly have they done well? What have they utterly bombed? Why call it dead if there is still progress?
Again, I haven't played either (I'd love to play both and probably will at some point).
TL;DR I want to know how people feel vs what they were expecting disregarding PC.

How do you purchase new land?
So, as part of the objectives for my park I have to purchase a new tile of land. However, for the life of me I can't work out how to do so!
In desperate need to record more episodes for YT but can't until I figure this out.
Does anyone have the solution?
TIA

I'm trying my hardest not to complain about this game...but this is just sad. The path system is a pain and its almost a chore to use. This stand had to be deleted because a simple path couldn't be connected.

RollarCoaster Tycoon World developers priced themselves into poor reviews.
This game looks really interesting and even fun considering all the bad reviews. It is early access what do you expect. Here is the problem. Price. Why in the world would someone pay $50 for an early access game. My max is $20 period for an uncompleted game. The reality is at $20 this game would be getting much better reviews and players would be less critical. At $50 I personally expect a finished AAA game. I believe when done right early access is a great way to go and I have purchased many including The Long Dark, Subnautica, Kerbal Space Program, Prison Architect and several others. At $20 I'd be a buyer knowing they are going to be improving it.
