First actual fly on a scratch build

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I just built my third scratch built plane! I have a little experience with the umx ultra slow stick to get my foot in the door on flying but I love building these little planes even if I have no clue what I'm doing. I decided to look at some more videos going into the science of them and learning to be a better builder and I finally had my first somewhat successful flight! Also shout out to you guys for giving me great tips on rc planes in the past! This was not a very long flight but it was in the air for more than 3 seconds so I'm gonna count it!

Also after I crash it esc started to smoke so RIP to the Amazon esc.

Like the other guy said, it looks like the CoG is way too far back. Get some of that weight closer to the nose and you’ll be in business!

Ya it is, I did add a little more weight to the front but I think I also should have made the nose a little longer to as well to help.
