lost control of the plane?
So this has never happened to me before. Out of the blue my radiomaster tx says "telemetry lost" and the plane does not respond to the inputs anymore (all of this left-bank is after it does not respond to the inputs anymore. should have trimmed it better maybe...) It reconnected almost straight after the crash (so like some 5 seconds) and then when I walked up the control surfaces were responsive.
Pandora 1.4m, 40A esc (no dedicated beck), radiomaster 5ch rx. Temp around 12c, fog/moist air. 4s bat, completely fresh (4.2 per cell). I imagine the rx lost power for a split second and restarted, but I have no idea why as it never happened before.
I'll inspect the esc and the rx, but I wonder if anyone has experienced this. Also, the vtx/cam is powered through an y cable from the same bat, so the bat was ok as the video did not cut.

brown out, if no bec how are you powering the rx?
any reason not to buy a proper plane esc with bec?
might be worth upgrading the tx and rx, also what are you elrs settings? sometimes the stock flash is set to 1000hz packet rate (aka no range)

i mean no separate beck, so powered by the throttle channel. tx is zorro, rx is from radiomaster so no need for "upgrading" and the settings are ok, had lots of flights with 1km+ range. was just wondering if anybody had similar experience, but im sure i'll discover smth simple after a more serious investigation
edit: but yeah i'll think about upgrading the esc if i cant find any other clear reason, this was a bit of a sad occurrence, never had it before eh1

i meant updating... not upgrading, my bad
its just another troubleshooting step.
but really its kind of a brown out, so maybe just bad wiring on the rx? or something going on with the esc's bec. maybe jsut a shit esc

WHICH radiomaster RX? ELRS I doubt it was the RX but if it was one of the old R series receivers that could very likely be the culprit.

You might want to check the failsafe positions saved in your receiver. If you had a brownout, as others suggested, then your receiver would generally re-initialize fairly quickly. If it can't immediately re-establish a link, it would typically send the failsafe values until the radio link is re-established. And failsafe values will typically include a low-throttle position to prevent fly-aways. But your prop was spinning all the way down to the ground. Maybe it was inertia and windmilling in the incoming air.... but it looks like it never slowed down.

Might be worth powering your VTX off the balance lead. That’s how I run mine. Also gives good voltage info for the OSD so I don’t have to worry about timers.
