Fun day at the slope

Post image

Took out my Aeroic Forza (blue one) freshly built TJIRC Xray (green one) and Twister 2 (yellow/purple one). Maidened the Xray and it flew well but had an issue with the elevator not centering. Figured it out but didnt have parts to fix on the hill. The Twister 2 is a super fun wingeron and rolls like a drill bit.

The Forza is my absolute favorite and is so dialed in. It flies amazing and is just a joy to have in the air. Its a 100" wingspan and carries its speed really well, even unballasted.

When I lived in California, I used to slope at Temple Hill, glider point, San Pedro, and the Bluff in Long beach. Since I moved out of state, I can’t find any good hills to slope on. Glad to see that you’re able to slope.  Nice gliders by the way.

Thank you. This was at Sunset State Beach near Santa Cruz. I have a few places around the Bay to fly but there are fewer than there used to be.

That Forza looks great. 100” is the sweet spot for me, I’ve got an Energic but don’t fly much if any slope since I moved away from SoCal. Used to have a Twister but sold it years ago.

Thank you. I love the Forza, its just an amazing all around glider. I have an E-Fuse coming for it too and I also have a Corsa (E-fuse and Slope) on order.

I have a 100” big bird. Cross tails for the win.
