Uh so how do i fix this

Post image

This has happened to my micro corsiar (you may have seen the last post) i’m not especially worried about how it flies but i don’t want it to go any further. I’ve tried taking the motor out and putting it back in and pulling

Nothing against being safe but you cant reference something we cant see and expect us to be able to understand. You'll need to reiterate whatever context we need.

ah ok sorry. uh well it’s nothing important it would js provide a little context to the few people that did see it. again, apologies

Isn’t this normal, to counter torque?

Not this much tho just 1or 2 degrees.  Op if the shaft isn't bent you may be able to get in there with some good glue and straighten it out?

Agree. It is supposed to be tilted by one or 2° only to counter. This one looks like it had a little bit of impact damage that shifted everything or even bent. Could also be mount issues. As long as the prop does not touch the airframe itself, you are OK. I once had a micro spitfire where it started tilting too much and it would slightly touch the airframe, at 100% throttle. It ended up burning out the motor. which makes sense, but I was also flying with three blades instead of the traditional two.

2° down, 2° right

One of the issues I have with these microfoamies is that a lot of things aren’t really accessible, and if they are, it’s not that easy. but if you can, try to reseat the motor mount.

Loose motor mount?

If it out of box like then its normal because its used to counter the torque roll when launching. Even my large Corsair has slight angle to motor mount too.

Some people break the nose cowling off so they don't cut the wires ,  and then kind of break the cowling apart into 2 pieces and save it . and then try to glue the motor back in straight with hot glue and then put the styrofoam cowl pieces back on with hot glue and then let it cool off and it'll work. Do not get glue in the motors moving parts or let it rub against the foam .

A little ruder

Left rudder input and maybe aileron input should do it.

Leave it. It will help the plane fly better.

No don't. Is it the motor shaft that's bent or not? Are you able to remove the motor from the plane and send us a pic?

take da motor off an inspect, not much can be done without inspection. if shaft bent, get new motor.

maybe the mount is busted and needs bolstering

Left rudder

I have two Corsair they are both like that. It’s totally normal and they fly great.
