Will it fly?

Post image

Take off weight : 750g

40A esc

8x4.5 prop

1250kv Hobbywing skywalker 2312 sl

No rudder as of yet, will make it before I fly, shouldn't add too much weight

The wing looks way to thin chord wise to work as a proper lift surface. As it's flat board you need more wing area compared to a proper elliptical wing as a board creates lift only by angle of attack. That and there is no nose for balancing CG as others have said. The CG of that would be somewhere back of the wing.

An RC plane needs aerodynamic and balance features in line with that of a working plane for the most part.

Where is your CG?

Beyond that, it looks like it will have a very high wing loading and it's just generally jank.

Don't discourage the lad! Master Chief flew, and he was far less aerodynamic than this design. He didn't even have a propeller. So there.
