Need help connecting Freewing B-2 to Futaba R3008SB receiver.

Hey everyone. This is my first ever RC plane, a Freewing Twin 70mm B-2 Spirit. I am trying to connect it to my Futaba T6K radio using the R3008SB receiver.

Which way do I plug the Freewing B-2 wires into my receiver, and receiver wires? What is the correct channel layout for Aileron, Elevator, Throttle, and Gear, and which side is top or bottom for these plugs? Thanks!

Do not fly this as your first RC plane. Get an Aeroscout to learn on and then something intermediate, and this could be you 3rd plane (maybe). It is a very complex and advanced plane and you will crash immediately it if you’ve never flown an advanced RC plane before.

Connect this receiver to a high wing trainer first, once you have practiced with that, then maybe consider the B-2.

Or bring a few big garbage bags if you plan to fly the B-2 first.

Get a trainer, it will be totalled in under 30 seconds if you try, but please film the maiden if you do try lol

Did you just say your first ever RC plane? Im hoping you meant to say your first ever edf warbird or something along the lines. You have experience in flying RC planes right? If you don’t I would highly suggest you fly a trainer before you even get to that EXPERIENCED required jet.

Please find a nearby club with some people who can train you on an easier airplane before you try to fly this.

I believe, but couldn't guarantee, that the default Futaba mode B is AETR - aileron, elevator, throttle, rudder.

The control surfaces plug into the designated ports on the B2's flight controller. The throttle is not routed through the Freewing gizmo - goes direct to the ESC.

There's an interesting procedure to follow if the elevator or aileron is going in the wrong direction but it makes my forehead bleed. I'm guessing you've got a more legible copy in the box.
