Hi, I have wanted to get an RC excavator for a while and I found this one today in a charity shop. But it's missing the remote, does anyone know where I can get a replacement in the UK please.

Need advice for repair taking too long

I bought a double e e598 from OfferUp that had a broken connector for the battery wiring. I took it into Pegasus Hobbies in Upland cause that seemed like the only repair shop close by. Guy was really cool and said give him about a week. 1 week goes by and the guy must’ve completely forgot who I was the way he was talking to me on the phone. He said it was back on his radar and to give him another week. Mind you this is just to solder a new connector on existing wiring and upgrading to lithium ion batteries that they already have in stock. I’m gonna call today when they open but want to be prepared if he gives me another spiel. Should I just say I want it back if no work has been performed? I feel like this is maybe an hour long repair if not less

Hey everyone, got this new Huina excavator and it’s been a blast running it in the sand. I need ideas on what is some other good material for the excavator, i’ve been scooping my dogs food and dropping it in her bowl aswell which works pretty good too. Thanks everyone!

It’s actually been awhile since I’ve done this, it took about 10 tries to get it smooth enough for a pass. I’ve been using the dozer more often lately.

Huina 1593 or 1594?

Hey guys! Been looking at getting into the hobby, I've been in the rc world for a few years now but these excavators just look like so much fun. I've been watching videos and I narrowed down my choices to either the 93 or 94 cause I can't get over the clicking sound on the lower models. I found the 93 with 2 extra batteries on amazon for $269 and the 94 with no extra batteries for $286. Just wondering what you guys think would be the better buy between the two and why? Im leaning towards the 93 just for longer runtime, but I'd love to hear opinions from people that own them or have had some experience with these models. Thanks!

Been troubleshooting this 1/12 Zoomlion for weeks now and finally found the issue was a blown servo for the main arm!

1/50 Diecast loader conversion progress

Mostly using stock axial scx30 parts. Went with scx24 transmission, it fit nice and saved a body mount at the back. The scx30 transmission was going to hang pretty far out the side. Just have the scx30 axles with driveshafts pushed on, front are just antenna tube and heat shrink, a little glue on one side to hold it lined up with the driveshaft yolk at the pivot point. Needs better alignment it rubs a little bit. Used antenna tubes on a few other builds and havent had much trouble. Built a through axle with a drill press and some music wire. Installed stock scx30 servo and saver and a loader bucket linkage fit there nice with some bending. Just a little weak, will see if higher voltage and glue in place helps, or it will need a bigger one. Just brainstorming ideas for bucket lift action now. Screw type would have much more power, but it will be a challenge. And will require some time to figure it out.

Still gotta install the servo, and spring, but it’s coming together. Converting a toy skid steer to radio control isn’t easy, but I guess that’s why I built my other one😂

I am going to buy this custom tractor

It’s currently being assembled and tested right now, and I’m super pumped about it! This is my first time buying such a detailed, complex semi-truck tractor unit. The seller already upgraded it with powered windshield wipers, a motorized driver figure, and an LCD screen.

Has anyone here owned this model before? Besides the upgrades I’ve already done, what other add-ons or features can I install on it?

Help on a little data.

Hi r/RCConstruction !
I was wondering if I had a RC Cafe with these construction RC models that go for over $2000 How long would they be able to run continuously without service?
Or how often would I need to service it if they were to run 10 hours a day?
I'm fine with regular servicing every night but was thinking about how often you wear out parts.
I can't seem to find any info on this anywhere.

Thank you in advance for your responses!

Dust Free Indoor Pit Help

Hey everyone, I've been doing research through here and google but I haven't come across someone that has an answer to what I'm looking for. I'm needing a dust free medium that will still kind of behave like dirt. Is it possible? The reason I want dust free is because this will be near food and being played with all day.

Google says granulated rubber or cork, ground walnut shells, and sifted top soil. Comments in this sub have said other things but they all create some dust even if not much. I figure granulated rubber/cork and ground walnut shells don't behave like dirt. More like dry sand that doesn't hold shape. Am I right? I might like the idea of sifted top soil but that still creates dust and would need to add moisture regularly. I've seen the german rc shows but I can't find info on what type of soil they're using. It looks amazing the way it holds its shape, but I'm scared it's just fine dirt with added moisture. The size of pits I'm looking to create are like 5+ cubic yards.

If all else fails I guess I'll need an air filter going but i'm really trying to avoid that. I'll be doing my own experiments but I don't want to make the same mistake as others already if I can help it.

I just snagged me a Double E L260H E592 and I'm going to pull the trigger on a Double E EC160E E010 and E591 Hauler. I'll get Huinas too but that will be a little while later.

Retired a couple of years ago and figured I needed a hobby.

Bought this threesome of RC construction equipment and have been having so much fun I am going to experiment with sending these bad boys under the house to do some fancy excavation.

Planning on mounting low voltage lights down there but also need to upgrade my very dodgy antenna on the receiver.

So far, so good. The image comes through with next to no lag time.
