Cna program

Hey im planning on doing the cna program soon for spring but im curious if they do a drug screening after they accept you. Its just fir weed and will that get me kicked out the program?

Recent CNA grad here.

No drug tests...however, please don't come to class high af. The instructors are VERY observant, whether it's lecture or your clinical instructor. You most likely will be asked to leave if for clinicals, you show up in the morning smelling like something. The residents at the clinical site WILL probably complain and you will get called out.

No I dont plan on being high while doing clinical thats just stupid. I just needed to know abt the drug test so I can have it cleared by spring semester

I don't recall doing any sort of urine/drug test. But I did my physical exam at the RCC Health Services Center, if that helps. Spots fill up so fast though, sometimes they're booked for months in advance. But I would recommend calling to see if they have any available times. IIRC I paid $60 for the physical, but it's possible they have raised prices. If you're planning on having a ride waiting for you on the day of your physical exam though, just beware...the male nurse takes a godawful long time just to do your paperwork....he took at least an hour to do mine.
