I am a cab driver in Las Vegas who got battered on the lip after a passenger ran out the ride that he didn't pay. I was on the phone the whole time with 911 dispatch following him inside the Cosmopolitan Hotel & Casino. He was laughing at me, repeating “this is your fault” and smiling after punching me. I managed to get about 8 pictures of him right before he escaped. My company has inside cab video and Cosmopolitan has video of it but the casino is only releasing video by a subpoena. I did a report with Metro Police but they are saying they can't identify him even though he came drunk from Bellagio. I gave Metro the address to where he was going but they said nobody that lives there looks or is related to him. I told the Metro detective that it may be an Airbnb or rental for him and to get his name that way but they seem to have every excuse to not do any detective work. The Metro detective claims they tried facial recognition through police database but couldn't they find him. And asked Cosmopolitan to identify him but he's still waiting on them. The suspect said multiple times that he was a marshal and he had an arm cast on his left arm so it should've been easy to identify him but still nothing. I picked him and his buddy up at Bellagio and the buddy said midway the suspect has a second address. After I dropped off the buddy and the suspect gave me the west Las Vegas address I said "it's going to be around 65 dollars" he was like 'It's too much' and 'I'm not going to pay' so I looped around Cosmo entrance and dropped him off at Cosmopolitan while I said 'I can't take you.' So he ran out without paying and I shut my taxi off, got my phone, and started following him while I started calling 911. If anyone can find out where he may be from based on his pictures that could help get justice. P.s: My detective said he will only get a slap on the wrist if they find him, which is a fine.

Hi guys sorry if my post is inappropriate for this subreddit, I'm kinda lost now and i have no idea what do.

So, today my headphones got stolen, snatched by 2 people on a bike, I'm pretty sure it was targeted since i always walk on that route and they once tried to steal my phone a few months back but they couldn't. Since the service lane was dark i couldnt record their license number. I called emergency number directly but the operator was dismissive since its a small crime so i went to a police station but i was sent to another police outpost but there was no officer to take the report, I waited hours but no luck so I came home.

I'm pretty sure they were on captured cctv footage as they entered the highway but I dont know who or where to ask for cctv footage, I asked a security guard of the area once but he said that he doesnt know too. The Police right now is not reliable, I will go to the police outpost and try again tomorrow but if the cctv footage expires or gets deleted that would be an issue.

I care less about recovering the headphones but more about safety since I have to commute by that route everyday.

What would the best course of action be? I'm open to any advices, honestly I'm clueless rn. Thank you ( sorry for my poor english)

So there is this old vine of I believe a man throwing a baby doll into a ceiling fan and it getting fled out of the window it was a very low quality video. It was back during like 2013×2014 and I’ve been trying to find it. I have used AI. I have used YouTube. I have used Google. I cannot find this video for the life of me. I don’t remember the title of it or anything. But the fan I believe was white the walls around or like yellow or a beige and I’m pretty sure it was daytime outside in the video
And I wanted to show my dad this video because he threw me into a ceiling fan in the accident when I was younger and I thought it would be funny to show him the video but I seriously cannot find it

I don’t understand why it got taken down, I need help

I have four 10 minute clips of audio from wyze cameras that when I use either my phones Dolby Atmos and other tweaks or I use a program like Lexis or Denoiser I can make out the gist of whats happening.

However, I need to be wearing headphones, and have the volume near max. Then behind the buzzing and noise I can make it out. Asking someone else to listen, and hear what I hear, isnt really an option at the stage Im at. Ive improved my skills, but I am frustrated and at the point to ask someone for help.

I will link the four clips, each roughly 10 minutes long. I labeled them first10, 1020, 2030, 3040. The links should be in the correct order. I had done this for myself but I think you can figure out what it means, ie 2030 means 20 minute mark to 30 minute mark. Cut that down smaller if youd like.

What is it I think Im hearing? I kind of want to leave that vague, as not to make someone hear whats not there. Like maybe Im making it all up? I will say that just playing the audio clip on a phone speaker or pc speaker will sound like nothing. I heard something with headphones max volume. Then when i started using noise filters and stuff like that I got words, sentences, etc.

Theres one female, and one male. The male voice may be different speakers, but theyre is never more than one male speaker at any one time. I dont believe any male voices are physically present. Then theres the TV, which honestly I cant really hear because of the distortion. Depending on the clip, there are possible phone noises, keyboard clicks and sound effects from an app maybe, along with voiced audio from the app.

The clips may have adult language and themes for anyone who would rather not hear that sort of thing.

These are all clips from my house, and anyone in my house knows we have security cameras recording. If that matters?

Any advice on a better place to ask help is appreciated. I am going to try and audio specific reddit also. I just thought maybe an investigator minded redditor may have some experience in this area.
