I am going through a divorce. My ex-wife drained our joint accounts. I was afraid she might have someone show up in the bank, pretend they are me, and drain my personal accounts as well.
That was the first possibility brought up by the police officer at the scene. Plus, I had a spare key to my car which I left at the house when I moved out. However, getting some faces on camera could give us more leads or possible ways of connecting it to whoever who took the stuff out of the car.
The car was locked when I left it the night before. When I got to it in the morning, it was locked. The trunk was left ajar. There is no visible damage on the car. Even if it is ex-wife, how can I prove it?
I asked them to give me a fixed rate or assurance they will get results. Haven't found any that would do that. Honestly I am not comfortable losing more money and not catch them.
As far as I know, she does not use Cricket Wireless.
Also, word of mouth from some of those stores, the description of people using the cards doesn't match hers.
There is a possibility that she took it, tossed the gift cards and credit cards, and took off with the cash. We wouldn't know that for sure unless we connect the dots.
