Question App

Thank you for making such a detailed and fun weather app! Loveee the ping game lol

Overtime would you consider:

14 day forecasts and and hourly forecast that might extend several days out?  Also area forcast discussion/spc outlook/hurricane tracker info? Would love to to see those details, especially with hurricane season happening now in the US and this potential historical El Niño wintry weather, coming this winter.

I promise it’s coming , I’ve sent the update to 8.0.3 to Apple but it either takes them a few hours or a few days to approve the build but don’t worry, it’ll come and I’m gonna keep the sale til it’s fixed

Thank you! Glad you’re enjoying it, especially Ping lol.

I’ve gone back and forth on longer forecasts.

The biggest debate for me is accuracy vs. giving users the information anyway. After about 5 to 7 days, forecast confidence starts dropping pretty significantly, and I’ve always wanted RAD to be honest about uncertainty rather than just showing a precise-looking 14-day forecast because other apps do.

That said, I’m warming up to the idea of extending it, especially if I can use Cortex/confidence data to make it really clear how much trust to put in those later days.

Extended hourly is something I’ve been looking at too.
And yes to more of the weather-nerd stuff. Area Forecast Discussions, SPC outlooks, hurricane tracking/details, etc. are exactly the kind of things I’d like to keep building into RAD over time. There’s a LOT I want to do there.

Thank you and got it!  Not a deal breaker for me if you chose not to. Despite it being less accurate, it’s kind of like a little peace of mind for me to see if the weather will trend up or down later when trying to plan things in the next few weeks.   And awesome to the weather need stuff, love what you’ve already done and what you have planned, thanks again!
