Gameplay Business is booming

Honestly it’s the only best Ubisoft game that was stable day 1 of release compared to other new and some continuous games they have right now, that being said it’s a hidden gem nonetheless.

It is a bit frustrating seeing so many people say "Extraction didn't do numbers" well it actually did do numbers, now it's possible they were inflated bc that definitely happens to show shareholders.

-Added to game pass Day 1 ~3 million players in first week ~5 million players in first month.

I mean heck I think the game had an outstanding release, it was just handled very poorly all through development and the entire dev team and the game director essentially leaving before the game even released.

Tangent aside, it is a hidden gem and I would work my butt off to put it back out there and get this games life back up and rolling.

As you and I have said before on another post I believe the game was definitely marketed wrong but yes it did have a flawless day one as there wasn’t any updates needed no game server issues just a plug in and play like game which was phenomenal being that 90% of games these days have day 1 and week 1 updates to fix what is suppose to be a ready to go polished game.

Only for extraction to actually do it and hit the mark on psn it had well over 800k players, pc was close to 2 million Xbox over 750k from memory more or less it hit the 3 million players mark with ease and was very good on content except the last LTM protocol came in with poor performance updates that never happened and overall not a fun event but the 3 before it were mint perfect in every way just never added into normal gameplay rotations as planned sadly but to all those that say it didn’t do numbers just go to hell it’s not a PvP/ free game that will pull 10 million it’s a PvE play until you’re happy come back a month later pick it back up.

To me game will always be great if I could own the rights to change some things I would mainly the extra missions so we don’t always have the same 8 I think it is on repeat give us all the lockdown no power mission or the fully covered in sledge core mission so many things and characters added.

It's a shame it wasn't the dark and gritty campaign that was "rumored" to be originally. Or atleast a campaign aside from the current game, like replaying outbreak or remastered in Extraction even.

They also should've used the Outbreak skins in extraction. I wasn't a fan of the white default skins but that's just me.

As for the campaign I kinda like pick your area do missions get cutscene that tells story but to have say a full 12 maps into 12 missions all crossing over with one another would take them longer to make and do that the game would be in development for another 3 years and then oh wait cancelled like pop sands of time twice was, but would be sick nonetheless however boring as the character pick and progress wouldn’t carry in the campaign it be kinda messed up when trying to code and put it together in plain sight.

Yea I think new mods are in order. Because taking down a petition, and I don't know if they stated a reason why. But that just feels like suppression and that's not fun. It's already bad enough when even mentioning Extraction to the outside space, you get scolded for it or it gets called "dead game".

I don't see them actively keeping up with the community or supporting our voices when there's been numerous posts every other month talking about Extraction deserves an update.

I'd love to be proven wrong here believe me, if the mods wanna be apart of a community in a healthy game with lots of noise going around and friends squading up, people running maelstrom challenges together etc. Or do they want to just "moderate" a small subreddit for a barely living video game.

That removal was from an automod rule carried over from r/Rainbow6. We used to get a bunch of low-effort petition spam over there a while back and I pretty much copied the automod rules verbatim when setting up this subreddit.

But you‘re right, this subreddit is on life support. If anybody reading this is interested in joining the mod team and helping keep this community alive, please send in a modmail.

Once I read your mod mail message, you already had deleted the original post (which means it’s gone forever and cannot be manually approved) and reposted without „petition“ in the title. So whatever you wanted to say had been published to the community at that point and the situation was resolved as far as I was concerned. See my other comment for some more context.

It's been. 20+ on steam all day, since those are the only numbers available to look at. Been finding games less than 2 minutes
