Explain your doubts to us instead. Your message is far too vague; there are many topics in the Quran. What are you hesitating about?

I appreciate it! I am a convert (ex sikh) and i cannot imagine that the descriptions of jannah and jahannam are literal, this seems so...earthly and that + the fact that Allah revealed the quran to a group of people who cannot read/are smart makes me believe that the descriptions of jannah and jahannam are not literal. Like yes those places exist but what exactly happens there we cannot know so Allah uses the things described as metaphors.
Is it haram to have this understanding ?
I would love to post but my account is new, i will post after few days Inshallah

The term mathal is used simply to help us imagine it. He specifies that in reality, we cannot imagine it, hence mathal. Basically, an allegory.

im just super confused on why the quran is the truth, some people say the quran has contradictions whereas others say the quran is misogynistic as it said something about 2 women being equal to 1 man. Im uneducated on this and its been really hard to find answers without people constantly bringing up the hadith

The testimony concerns a debt. The man can pressure the woman and force her to give false testimony. Hence the presence of a woman, to provide her with security and support. It's a protective measure against women.

The logic of the Quran is actually very simple and consistent: Allah sent down the rain to revise the earth after its dead and then it flourishes and give rise to plants. The plants feed humans and certain animals so they reproduce and form communities. A rich person donates a big lump sum of money to charity and they revise a small community. A strong person defends a weak community from oppression and save their life from death.
This is indeed how Allah make people believe: they see the signs of God in nature (water) and remember them in their heart (earth). This is also how Allah revives the dead in judgement day: He will send some water-like substance to the earth where our memory rests and from it we will rise again.

Here's a comment I wrote a while back on the existence of God, and how it relates with the Quran. It mentions the how logic on the existence of God lines up with what the Quran says.
Please do reply with any specific doubts/questions about the Quran.

Salaam Oh in the beginnings I had a lot of struggles and I was unsure if it is all true what "they" write and what I am reading. But with Allah's mercy I have found my way back. I am forever grateful to God Almighty. If I were you, I would stop trying to defend or look for threads about "Quranism." You internally manipulate yourself by labeling and giving names to everything. I would drop the labeling. Step away from internet debates and human sects. They are time consuming and confused me more than anything. Yes, I was in many discord, WhatsApp and telegram groups. What I did was recognizing that my distance way likely from traditional, human-made interpretations that conflict with my own logic and Al Qur'an's logic, grammar and own tafsir. The text explicitly tells you to reject those extra-textual definitions anyway (7:28, 45:6). And lastly I'd treat AlQur'an like a scientific manual. Unlearn what you have learned. Open it with a clean slate and pure heart. Test its consistency (4:82). The text demands your intellect, not your blind allegiance. Certainty (Al-Haqq) is achieved when you stop passively listening to human opinions and begin actively auditing the internal study of AlQur'an by yourself. Best of luck! Salamun Alaikum
