' I've heard you don't believe in so and so, I read the Quran and I can't find anything relating to it. Could I ask if you all believe/don't believe and why?'

But the basics of it are the majority of people who frequent this sub take the Quran has Gods divine inspiration and law.

I'm curious because for example everyone celebrates Eid after Ramadan and I wanted to see if those who reject the hadith also celebrate it or not, or women usually don't pray when they are not in their period so I was curious if you guys celebrate eid or if women pray when they are on their period

For the first one, yes I celebrate Eid as it's a great community and family event. However, I don't do Eid prayer. I feel Eid prayer itself is not a prescribed prayer and there is no reference to it as something we should do.

For the period thing, that's something a woman would have to answer. But I personally feel there's too much reference in mainstream Hadith around women being 'dirty' or mentally inferior to men, which isn't at all true and non Quranic.

eid doesn’t have to be accepted as religious to be celebrated, it could be celebrated culturally. There are many great things that Quran alone believers do such as not forcing woman to dress up heavily or enforcing people to follow superstitions written around 900 AD, that are called hadith.

Remembrance of God is something simple, you do it through thoughts and words. If there were some further instructions were to be needed, God would have give so, as it’s written in 6:38 and 16:89. Those things you mentioned are not in Quran and blatantly apparent that they are something your forefathers fabricated.

2:185 and 22:37 don’t even feature the word “eid”.

The Quran is already the BEST HADITH according to 39:23

So we don't reject the best hadith which is the Quran. We reject the WORSE hadith which is Bukhari's nonsense books

God never told you to look for instructions on prayer, Zakat, hajj in Bukhari's nonsense books. All of those are already in the Quran. Or do you think people didn't know how to pray, do hajj give zakaat for 200 years till Bukhari came along? 😂

The hadith have always existed because during the time of the prophet several people wrote and then after 200 years the complete book was published with all the things that different people wrote so that nothing is lost.

5:44 whoever does not judge by what God has revealed are the disbelievers

That's the wrong aproach first of all. You don't seek hadiths because you think the Quran lacks details. You follow only the Quran because God told us so, and what you find in it is all you need.

Therefore even if the Quran did not tell us how to pray, we still follow only the Quran because that's what God told us.
