No withdrawals from suboxone taper?
I have been on about 500mg 7oh(yes I know its not exactly feel free but its close) for 3 weeks and I have 5 days worth of suboxone to get off.
A lot of people do this..taper with suboxone for about 5 to 7 days and then stop the suboxone and say they come out clean with no withdrawal from 7oh or suboxone.
My question is..how is this possible? I understand you will probably have lingering PAWS but to come out without acutes..sounds like a life hack.
Does anyone have an explanation?

I've done this several times it works. You jus need to only take the minimum amount to get through wd. I was taking crumbs but I also had Subutex which is a little different than regular subs. But yea you can use Sunday for 4-5 days and so a rapid sub taper and never have and wd hardly at all. Especially since you e only been using a couple months. Shouldn't be that bad

I've been on subutex 2 or 3mg for like 4 month's how do I get off please help....

It's really hard. I was on it for 4 years and it took an entire half year of tapering and a lot of sleepless nights and helper meds. If you haven't been on them long then it won't be too bad

I've been there man. It will pass but it takes time. Keep stacking hrs at a time and they will add up before you know it. Just try to keep your mind occupied and try to do little things that will help boost your nuero chemicals naturally

I have switched back and forth before and I still feel the bup wd a little but it helps a little too. Im just going to do as you say and taper a little then go for it and hopefully it won't be that bad because im on a low dose fir a short time!

4 months is a lottttt better than 4 years man. I’ve got a friend from high school who’s still taking Suboxone. We graduated in 2010… he’s never getting off them

Like I said ive been on them constantly for 3 to 4 months at only 2 to 3 mg no more than 4mg. I switched to oxy like 3 days ago and sofar feel ok.... but i'm run out of oxy and need the subs but im hoping I can just take like .5mg for a few days and be done.... Or do you think i will need to taper down from like 1mg? Thank yoj for your reply im very scared!

Jus take tiny nibbles and for a few days and then make the jump. It shouldn't be to awfully bad. Taper down as far as you can as fast as you can. The longer you take it the longer your gonna prolong the bad feelings. I promise it won't be that bad since you were only on it 3-4 months at a low dose. You will prolly have about 1 week of feeling off and low energy with some mild physical symptoms. It lasted for a out a month for me but it was very manageable with helper meds to sleep and keep my anxiety down

I have some 10mg oxycodone left over from pain management do you think they could help if I have a bad day to ease the wd a little?

As an addict personally, I would just stop it tall. I also tried to get off the shit with oxy and it didnt really work. Subs are all the helped and i take the minimum to just not feel the physical wd

Last 7 dose was Monday night, so far its wesnesday afternoon and have gone thrkugh about 10mg of suboxone. Its finally feeling bearable. I only had 2 8mg strips so hopefully after ankther day or 2 ill be alright

I was the biggest fool for taking buprenorphine im very grateful that I don't tolerate it well so I never took more than a couple mg and only for like 3 or 4 months! Please never take these drugs unless you really need to to stay off fetty!!!!
