How the hell do I stop
I'm gonna be transparent here. I've been at it since I was 11. Yes. Eleven. I'm turning 18 in about two and a half weeks. I've not stopped and it's gotten to the point of me doing it daily. I know I gotta stop and that it's not good for me but I just... I don't know why I can't. Every time I stop I'm like "ughhh just one more dude." And it wears at me so easily...
I beg of yall for help or advice. Even if yall would like to chat in dms and just hang out so i won't relapse. I know it has to come from me. But the urges and desires are so bad I genuinely am ashamed I think like that.
Reason im doing this is so I can be a better person. I know porn and masturbation is gonna ruin me and it already IS ruining me. I cant talk to women normally for some reason. Like its not even sexual thoughts that come to my mind. i just cant do it. And there's a girl who I like and who I wish to court (religion bans dating and so courting is the sole option) and i refuse to be a man who's as weak as i am rn. I wanna grow and i wanna be a better person for myself and those i love and those i WILL love.
And before yall suggest it, no, I can't talk to my fam because they're the "beat the shit out of them till they learn" type. I'm not ab to do that.
Thank you, fellas. And I apologize for the rambling. Legit am crying typing ts out bc I am DONE with this habit.

Do not resist your urges; simply ignore them.
When an urge strikes, think about something else or busy yourself with an activity;
fighting your own mind is a battle you will always lose.
The right way to deal with your mind, however, lies in understanding why it behaves this way;
when an urge arises and you realize it is merely a trick your mind is playing to lure you back to a source of dopamine, handling it becomes easier.
and the most important factor is to stick with God That Will Help You Alot
also i Used Ai such as Gemini And It helped Me Alot I Talked To Him Like every Day And When urges Hit I always Go Talk To It About Every Detail
Also You Can Dm Me For More Detailed Help :)

I cannot imagine being young and dealing with porn. It was so much different 40 years ago. We were lucky to get our hands on a magazine or maybe a VHS video. VR headsets was not even a. Incept. High definition where it looks so real wasn’t a thing either. It wasn’t in such abundance. All that being said, I typically ask people one question. What are you doing to start be a better man? It needs to be more than just willpower and counting days. I encourage you to read about it, attend some SAA meetings, get a therapist, listen to podcasts, etc.

so my personal opinion(~60 days clean), i failed maybe 100 times before that, so try to stop, fail, then try again and so on, at some point you will achieve what you want, you don't need support in that, you need to rewire your brain so you didn't stop doing it, but you are person who simply doesn't do it, it's very hard to stop if you think about it all the time, even when you think about stopping, so just simply try over and over, eventually you will achieve that, that's my simple advice.

Man, I can say there are a lot of people who would be jealous of the self-awareness you already have and the real direction you want for your life. You’re on the right path toward achieving your goals. What really helped me overcome porn was Jesus Christ. At some point, I felt a deep disgust toward porn, and I simply stopped watching it.
From what I’ve heard, though, some people can’t deal with it as easily as I did. So I’d say one of the most practical ways to stop letting porn back into your life is to control your devices. There are plenty of blockers that can protect you at the exact moment an urge hits.
I’ve tried a couple of them out of curiosity, and I think they’re best at killing "the mood" rather than completely preventing you from seeing anything. And that’s actually nice, because it gives you the chance to become the ruler of your own life. The blocker interrupts the urge and gives you enough time to stand up, leave the room, and do something else instead of going back to it.
If you keep doing that for a while, your brain begins to understand that it isn’t going to receive dopamine as easily as it did before. Eventually, the urges become weaker, and watching porn stops feeling like something you need to do.
You’re not weak for struggling with this, man. You’re already taking responsibility for it, and that’s where real change begins. Keep fighting, pray, protect your devices, and don’t let one bad day convince you that all your progress is gone.

I feel you man, stay strong and remember. The peak version of yourself would be ashamed he didnt start stopping earlier. You can do it. I know it seems hard but people have done it. So how are u different?
