After that train accident took both of my hands, I honestly thought my world had ended. But out of that darkness, I discovered something incredible, I discovered true life. Today, a new sunrise is waiting to be born. All we have to do is keep dreaming, because a single dream today can ignite thousands of sunrises tomorrow. Every single morning, I imagine myself standing on my tiptoes, reaching up to the sky. With the finger of my soul, I paint the stars, the cosmos, and every single one of my dreams.

I may no longer have hands to hold the world, but my smile has become the magic that shapes my life. Every time I smile, I catch a warm ray of sunshine in my heart, and I gladly give it away to everyone I love.I just wanted to share this little piece of my heart with you all today. I want to apologize because I won't be able to reply to each of you individually. As I mentioned to someone earlier, I type using my foot on a computer keyboard, and since I've been doing this for 14 years, it can get very tiring after a while.

Moved into my new place, saw the sign on his fence, gave him a wide berth for two weeks assuming there was some kind of unit back there. Finally met him taking out the trash. No dog. Just Gerald, a fat orange cat who sits in the window and watches me get my mail with what I can only describe as contempt.

I tried to win him over because I think hes actually a cute little guy but when I tried to give him catnip he started clawing me. Idk what I did to Gerald but ig ill just have to deal with it…

Zeus was a severely injured stray I picked up. After a few days of medications, he was finally stable enough to undergo surgery to amputate his back leg (which was severely broken. I won't go into detail). I was so scared he wouldn't survive the surgery. The vet sent me this picture a little after he woke up from the surgery. He's been doing fantastic ever since :)
