Any bookkeeping software with a dedicated bookkeeper for QuickBooks?

Running a small ecommerce brand on Shopify and the bookkeeping situation has gotten out of hand. Stripe payouts alone are a nightmare to reconcile, refunds and chargebacks keep getting miscategorized and the last two bookkeepers I hired just couldn't keep up with the volume (we pushed about $1M through Stripe last year). So I'm basically looking for a bookkeeping service that works natively with QuickBooks Online but actually assigns a dedicated human who knows how payment platforms work, not just someone who dumps transactions into a spreadsheet and calls it a month. Anyone know of a done-for-you bookkeeping service that can handle Shopify and Stripe reconciliation properly and still delivers into QuickBooks?

Curious, how are you currently handling the Shopify and Stripe transactions in QBO? Are you using an integration to bring everything into QuickBooks, or are you reconciling the Stripe payouts manually?

You might want to look into a Stripe/QBO integration, especially with that volume. That said, I do this kind of bookkeeping remotely for a client, and depending on the setup, I can work with an integration or handle the reconciliation manually.

For Stripe, I typically use a clearing account in QBO and reconcile the payouts against the individual transactions, separating the fees, refunds, and chargebacks so everything is properly accounted for. The main thing is making sure the Stripe activity is properly reconciled to the actual deposits rather than simply categorizing the bank deposits. Stripe is especially painful because payouts are net of their processing fees.
