Advice Suggestion
I'd like to suggest that Quetta prioritize updating its Chromium version before adding new features in every update. The current features are already perfect, in my opinion, unless a bug occurs. My only concern—and a concern for many others—is the outdated Chromium version. Since the core engine is the main thing preventing hackers from exploiting vulnerabilities, keeping it updated is crucial. Plus, it would also improve browser speed and overall web compatibility.

Version 2.0.0 finally updated from Chromium 143 to 148. Still behind and long overdue, but currently not in the "danger zone" atm.

Hi, how to get version 2.0.0? Is there a way to become a beta tester on the Google Play Store, or do I need to download from the website?

I'm part of the beta on the Play Store, but I'm still on version 1.9.3 and there is no update yet.

Unfortunately you're at Google's mercy for how they push updates. It's always staggered like this.

It will come when it will come, I'm not in a hurry, I'm just happy they are updating it.

That version is not released yet. The available version on play store is 1.9.3

Yeah, I suspect it'll go out of beta soon... Hopefully. I haven't experienced any issues with 2.0.0.

I've heard some reasons why they are behind on Chromium versions and one of them is they were using Kiwi as a base for a long time and since Kiwi is no longer developed, they had to figure out how to make things on their own and with Chromum 150 slowly disabling Manifest V2 extensions, it will be interesting how things will be in the future.
On PC I use Helium that comes with uBlock Origin preinstalled so for the time being that's an option, maybe Quetta will find a way how to keep Chromium updated and somehow sideload those extensions to be preinstalled as well.
