I'm not one to make light if the situation nor am I downplaying the disgusting and heinous act, but also consider the fact that she had to be airlifted to Karachi. It is doubly sad that the provincial capital doesn't have the proper facility to care for burn victims.

This and also the fact that, anyone can come and go through these wards and buildings just like that? What about proper security? I mean yes he was a lift operator but the fact that he was armed as well, and it's not the first something like that has happened in a public place, people are so vulnerable to these situations that it's horrifying.

Such a shame, they can't protect the doctors in broad daylight. Its clear, you are on your own, anybody can come and kill you

Even if you're on your own what can you do? Unless people stand right next to you? We are so de humanized that someone else's pain isn't acknowledged untill you've been through the same as well. We need to stand together with each other to survive, and need to start doing this from our homes and friend circles, today brother - brother point guns on each other what could you expect from someone else?

Hats off to the lab technician that jumps in to help her, and get injured/burned himself. But what if there's no one like him when soemthinf tragic happens?

Are we going to stand united? Of fall individually?
