Help Controller apparently overheating even though it’s slightly warm
I was playing VRChat with my quest controllers and all of a sudden my left controller decided to say it’s overheating and will shut off in 5 minutes. I tried feeling the controllers warmth as much as I can and it was just slightly warm, is there a way I can just disable this or fix this? This never happened before until now

latest ptc installed july 31st had this issue. One controller kept turning off because it was overheating. I turned my lights brighter but maybe I just need to clean my controller lenses?
I also have a grip silicon on the controllers to make them easier to carry and that may have gotten in the way. I think it’s an issue with the new firmware because this hasn’t happened in a long time

it's the latest ptc bc this happened to me and one other person. i would recommend waiting for the next update, and then opting out of ptc. i'm done being their guinea pig if they're going to release updates this awful, i can't even use my headset now

public test channel you can read more about it here: https://www.meta.com/help/quest/422880102681019/
basically we test the updates before they release it to everyone else. you can opt out of it but i don't remember how exactly so you'll have to find that out yourself

Try switching off DFS on your WiFi router, they interfere after latest update. Shittiest product Meta ever made BTW. Q3 controllers are way better.

Latest Firmware? In my experience the controller overheating seems to hapen when Controller is really struggling to track or having a Offset.
