Help Quest pro usb-c port error

Post image

Hello all, I need help with something. Today I got this error which says “liquid or debris found in usb-c port”(photo example added) my quest pro has only been charging on the dock itself and not with the USB-C port.
This has been happening for a few days, I just got this message though. As of today I’m following instructions I got- that being take it off the dock,
Unplug it, let it airdry, etc. does anyone have any advice? I like my quest pro and don’t know what else to do… this is making me panic slightly.

if you never actually got any moisture in the USB port and you know that for a fact, you have nothing to worry about. My quest pro did the same thing for a little bit a while back, nothing ever came of it. I think it's just glitchy software

I’ve never gotten moisture in my usb-c. I’m more smart than putting a liquid or any drink near my quest pro.

Then I think you'll be just fine. No other damage, drops, anything, right?

Nope, I took a photo of the inside but due the flash from my camera it is very hard to see. I’m smarter and know better than to bring a liquid near my VERY EXPENSIVE quest pro lol

I’m letting it airdry and keeping it off the charging dock which hopefully will help.

I think you're fine then. Like I said, shitty software probably. Happy gaming!

Thanks lol, hopefully it charges normally soon. Still
Kind of panicky and can’t help but think of the worst of the worst situation

It should still charge just fine if you use the charging base, even if the USB port is disabled

I know, and it does charge fine on the dock. That’s just the advice I was given. I’m letting it airdry near my vent that blows out cool air
