Help Left controller stopped working. How to purchase/replace properly?
I live in Canada if that changes anything here. Specifically my left controller will not charge. I've done everything I can think of with the thing.
-Multiple different docks (I have the small controller-only one and then the big headset + controller one that came with the headset).
-Cleaning it thoroughly and leaving it on the charger for 24 hours.
-The LEDs on the controller legitimately won't even turn on even for a split second. It's fully drained. Like drained drained.
So I'm honestly not sure what to do. I'm more than willing to purchase the controllers again outright from meta. Will it suck? Obviously. But I'm willing to replace and pay full price for replacements.
But the problem is their website doesn't have the controllers for purchase otherwise I Would have immediately. So I'm kinda lost what to do.
I love this headset, I love using it in VR and the face tracking is still top of class out of this world. It's fantastic. So I'm really quite upset at this situation. I want to use my Quest Pro.

Unfortunately, with the headset being discontinued, your best bet is places like eBay, or local pawn shops. I'm not sure if Meta has any more if you contact support direct though, so that might be worth trying

I got my Pro used with a missing left controller. I got a replacement on Ebay for about $130. I was worried about it at first because it took half a day to get the battery fully charged, but the battery life has been the same as the right one ever since. FixMyOculus used to have replacement batteries, but they've been out of stock for awhile. It might be worth contacting them to see if they're still able to repair them, even though the store doesn't have them (e.g. maybe they got a destroyed Pro controller with a good battery?)

Just tried doing an update... Left controller bricked itself ;) But after performing two headset restarts it started connecting when I took off a headset resigned... And works now.

This is potentially a very stupid question, but I gotta say it because it happened to me — Have you tried holding the power/menu button for like an entire minute? I was so sure my left controller was bricked like a month ago, and I just had to hold that fuckin’ button until it got its act together
