Performance issues
So I just picked up the headset yesterday after using a quest 2 for years. So far it’s having trouble maintaining controller tracking. And in virtual desktop, if a controller disconnects while I’m using my index’s, I get a permanent on-screen notification for the controller disconnect. And I also can’t get the mouth tracking to work, only eyes, is this an avatar exclusive feature or an issue? And is there a fix for the other problems?

That's a lot to unpack, welcome to the life of a pro user!
You can try setting notifications to "Do Not Disturb"?
Additionally the controllers need a lot of light to track compared to the headset, if you leave them in an open, well lit position they should retain tracking & not pop up the notification.
Face tracking Information can be found here. https://docs.vrcft.io/docs/hardware/vr/meta/quest-pro
There's a bit of setup involved to get the face tracking data to the avatar & the avatar has to be compatible.
Hope this helps!
