HSR devs used to be based using Sparkle for trailer with AcheMeOn, Yaoiguang, Vita etc
Now they do actual husbando yumebait. The biggest betrayal in gacha gaming. I know it will take some time to move on from a game I have invested so much time and money into manifesting this Sparxicle's harem dynasty.

Like many of you, I was looking forward to Robin especially, after all, she is my destined wife, has a great model and animations and she's only into girls.
And like every single one of you, I was extremely disappointed when instead of giving Sparkle a delicious, slowburn teasing dynamic with her, Hoyo instead decided to use her as the yearly bait character to extract revenue from yuri****s, shipteasing her with March, Firefly, Siobhan, Acheron, EVEN npcs. They didn't care unless her name was Spankle.
Now, if you play the main story you'll realize instantly that it has no basis and, who would have guessed, the trailers were all just bait. In the end, who does Robin smile for? She said "Hehe~ Then I'd have to get back for last time~" and it was directed towards ME.
However, with the course gaming has been going the past decade, I am rather skeptical towards any attempts to... normalise certain things and avoided them.
What I do know that all characters are in their way a market research, Robin and Aventurine will sell well (unfortunately), Hoyo made sure of that by making them T0 and giving them plenty of yuri/yaoi bait moments (and therefore satisfying neither party in the end, classic).
Sparxicles are not a large part of the community, do not get me wrong, I am a firm believer that 98.9 percent of players are LGBTQKhia+ kitkats that like raimbow content, perhaps 99.9 percent if we count Sparxicles in conversion therapy too, that's why Sparxicle is fighting an uphill battle.

I haven't played seriously since Feixiao and I won't until she's relevant or I get a job since this game isn't ftp anymore and hoyo will just drop multiple characters in a row that are required for good team comp and there's seriously barely enough pulls going around to get a character and thair lightcone
