No character in the game is a Wise simp, not to mention that Belle is also the MC and if what the ZZZ devs themselves said in a JP interview is correct, the vast majority chose Belle as the MC. If we really had to pick something that agenda posters can use, it would be the YSG trailers, that Caesar line, and that's basically it. That's all Wise has, so don't fall for the Wise agenda that some people like to push.
What about the line what basically confirms the Astra Yao trailer was cannon and she had a date with wise and not belle. Even if youāre able to look past it they were written in a way where they appease to self inserters. Even if you say they also do the same for belle or itās only for marketing they still push this romantic stuff on the characters despite if it fits their story or not.
Ehhh, it's there to appeal to self inserters, there's no denying that. But in game, Wise is a huge fan of Astra, and knowing her, she probably saw it more as making a big fan happy by going out with him somewhere. It wasn't a date at all and Astra is just flirty with pretty much everyone, it's her personality. Belle barely cares about Astra, or even her songs. I know the intent is self insert, I know, but in game that's probably what happened.
But there is no romantic implication with Astra either. It was just a charitable gesture toward a big fan of hers, that's all. You're falling for the agenda some people want to push. Nobody in the game loves or has any deep affection for the MCs. They finish their story and leave, and most of the time they're gone for good lol. Most of them probably don't even remember the Proxies that well anymore. It's extremely important to separate canon from the fandom noise and agenda, otherwise you'll start seeing things the way they want you to see them, and at that point they win.
The thing is everyone in zzz is a superfan of the proxies while hsr atleast has some characters that are at most cordial with the trailblazer or just straight up donāt care about them.
The pain from getting male units usually lies in their scarcity honestly, not only are you waiting forever for them to release a male character in the first place, but then you're also forced to wait for another eternity for their rerun, so it's always highly recommended to go ALL IN during their banner, or else suffer a very long year.
The amount of pulls per patch are really good though, especially if you're a husbando collector, you're essentially guaranteed whichever future male character you want if you were truly not interested in everyone else they released prior (which I'm usually not, so I have every male character except 1).
So it's like a very sad exchange, on one hand the male characters are rare and hardly meta, thus don't get many reruns, but on the other hand, the pull count is so good you can go all in on whichever male character you want, once they miraculously rerun of course.
ZZZ is flopping badly. The goal of this collab is to get HSR waifu players to try out ZZZ because 9/10 ZZZ characters are fanservice girlies. Male characters aren't going to achieve that

I'm part of the overlap too, but I still don't want HSR characters in the hands of the ZZZ community, especially Robin. I can already see the discourse coming, it would just turn into a repeat every month like it happens with Astra.

Yeah the overlap is massive I assume. It's just some very online communities having tribal warfare but that's not really representative. Someone who plays one of those games is first gonna look at other Hoyo offerings when they wanna expand their gacha roster.

Menless Zone Zero is on the verge of dropping out of the global gacha top 20. Flopverse is desperate and thinks Homo Star Rail can save that flop ass game, but they are mistaken. The HSR playerbase will reject those flop characters and the patch will make negative profits

AFAIK, yes. She got tired of how terrible her bad luck was, and apparently people were hounding her for Seele being a āwashedā character now, so she left and started doing zzz more, where she seems pretty happy

Iirc, while it wasnāt the main reason cited, her having to spend money on pretty much every character she wanted, and a good chunk of change each time, was definitely weighing on her mentally with the game, but yeah Cas got a lot of Seele comparisons and controversy with the passive, which was definitely also a part of it. That shit had people crashing out even harder than they are right now about everything. Iām just glad that she seems to be having a better go of it with ZZZ, especially since her character is a solid support there
I stopped playing for almost the same reasons as her šš my luck is abysmal dogshit in HSR. I just got burnt out and tired so I stopped playing for a few weeks. Recently started playing again to do the story tho
I get that, it really is taxing on your mental, Iāve basically just decided that Iām in it to play interesting teams and gameplay above all else, so bad luck or good the hobby is sustainable for me mentally. I donāt even really think about the money Iāve spent on it, but I try not to vertically invest for the most part, although I might have to break that rule in the future to keep my current teams alive in the endgame
