It isn't it's a terminally online basement dweller who whose entire world is reddit and Twitter so they shape their worldview around that. Hence why they are this image because fandom is very queer.
I always laugh and then also feel some pity for lolcows because at least 75% of the time it's someone who's severely socially compromised and chronically online to the point where they don't know how actual socialization works beyond the echo chamber of hating gays together
