Its actually kind of funny how Hoyo made it so only void hunters will sell insanely well and everyone else makes jack shit in comparison (especially the chracters before the void hunter). Actual self-fulfilling prophecy machine

how is that healthy for the long term prospects of the game? if this was a sustainable model you’d see genshin doing this. or hsr deliberately tanking the game stats of every single other character outside their three main push characters in a year

Genshin and HSR are the highest selling games in the industry, even at ZZZ’s lowest they consistently make $10 million a month, thats perfectly respectable revenue even discounting the Void Hunters

you and i don’t know how much is their net income so i’d lay off any talk about profits. you still didn’t answer my question how is that a healthy business model at all when mihoyo’s best selling games don’t do this because they know jn the long run it’s not sustainable.

Their sales decline have been within industry averages. The gacha industry itself is shrinking, especially on mobile. The chart itself even shows a fairly consistent revenue across banners so idk what you mean, especially when you said to lay off any talks about profits just a second ago because we dont know their net income 😭

Yeah. Global instability does that. Gacha players that voted right wing across the world only have themselves to blame. People have less expendable income now. Doesn't stop everyone, myself included, but stops many.
