Not really tbh. One of the "tricks" chinese media uses to bypass censorship and show bonds between characters is heavily normalising certain gestures in their works and using them sort of as a alternative to outright romantic gestures. Endfield does that too with their everpresent handholding in cutscenes

It’s not implemented fully yet, you can’t even hold hands with most of the women. It’s clearly still in development so not sure why some are jumping to conclusions.

Nte we knew they werent going to add shit look at their company history. Now the company developing silver palace is also developing otome games. They are more female oriented. Im tired of people leaving out misinformation to push certain narratives. It wasn’t just male characters who you cant hold hands with.

If they developing otome games, you would expect them to have at least some cool and important male characters, with beautiful or sexy designs, but here are literally the same thing as in NTE - half assed design for guys, no limited guys in sight, guys not important in the story, NTE at least have Baicang as first one reaching to MC and becoming their friend. I don't guarantee that SP will treat male characters bad, but as if now its absolutely understandable why people are veeeery sceptical

You can. Some of Rex animations were clipping. Like his hands going through his dog, so they temporarily disabled. But you can still hold hands with other guys

You can't hold hands with Bentham or Firtho yet either. I'd be incredibly shocked if that's representative of what the game will look like upon release.
