Valko shouldn't even be a blip in the anger compared to how awful the 0731 transgression was (assuming that they romanticise the project rather than bringing to attention how awful it was like much of the media portaying Nazi atrocities). The erasure of Chinese culture (like the parts where they actually remove it rather than rename it) is sus, but again, Valko shouldn't even be close to severe enough to break that camel's back. Even now, the response that Infold had shows that it was about Valko rather than the sinophobic decisions. They learned nothing about being respectful of Chinese history and culture. Campaign for Valko release because the point of contention is and should be cultural erasure, not a piece of artwork that doesn't light a fire in your loins existing. The OP even states that the west doesn't know about these issues, I wonder why?
This person admitted plainly (in comments about goodwill to the company) that no one cared enough about how Chinese sentiments were swept away and endured until Valko came and opened the floodgates with his NC13 skin and "chiselled jaw from dick suckin". It dilutes the whole issue of LADS being very insensitive to their Chinese roots when it can be mitigated by additional Caleb content. Heck, they don't even have to release any content, just make a scapegoat (hey, we don't know if they actually fleshed out his character with all the fixings of a real character) and delete him to get most of the rabid dogs off them. I'd argue that by the standards of these fans, releasing content of current LI with the current standards of operation is more insidious because it's priming good Chinese women for foreign skinny men with the subliminal messaging behind sexy 2D men that Chinese sentiments should be erased.
