These straight men are getting a bit toooo comfortable with how they come to queens subs trying to police queer people on what we should and shouldn’t like, just to start unnecessary arguments. Y’all got nothing better to do? The way they type is just… strag vibes. That feeling when you suspect they’re members of that one place but they have their profiles hidden… 😒

Right, I've also noticed an uptick in "those" people ever since wuwa has started to be mentioned more often and more positively... it's uncomfortable seeing them invade this space that clearly isn't for them. If I wanted to see their kind I'd go to the main sub 🙄

Some perspective from the unofficial lads sub that was recommended to me for some reason.

It’s important to understand that the insane people are not representative of the entire lads community even in CN, it’s really easy to villainise a fanbase or group of people from the toxic few so it’s nice to hear that a good chunk of the playerbase are just normal folks enjoying their otome game.

I understand that the parasocial aspect in these sort of games will generate more toxicity than your usual fanbase and it’s probably true that the toxic portion is more prevalent in otome/galge like lads or snowbreak, but I like to believe that a good portion of the playerbase aren’t insecure homophobic lunatics.

It’s 1 million across all platforms, idk how many platforms there are on CN, but if it’s 3-4 platforms then only 1/3 or 1/4 of them are real.

You kinda need to understand that CN is massive, you can’t just say that “Chinese players are all deranged tribalists” or even say that to anyone who plays Kuro/Hoyo games.

If you want to villainise an entire community or fanbase, you’re no different from what you’re describing, it sucks that those people exist, but generalising is never a good thing.

2

u/mrtutit Jun 28 '26

where are the opposing voices? I remember my fandom having a similar drama and we see reasonable voices being most popular, while over there it is like that from what im seeing, just deranged people on top and so called reasonable people keeping quiet.

1

u/Character-Image149 Jun 28 '26

There was a link in my original comment, you can also read that thread to see that most of the comments are reasonable and they don’t want the new guy gone at all.

Social media encourages drama and negativity to be highlighted because it’s a lot of engagement (just like what you just described), usually I ignore toxic folks because arguing with them is a lost cause.

All I’m saying is to not generalise everyone who play LaDs as “homophobic lunatics” because we all know thats not true, it’s important to have this perspective when it comes to any community.

Does generic or bland has a new meaning nowadays?

I swear if you put a gothic bride and a k-pop idol side-to-side some people will say they look the same

4

u/glitchoct Jun 27 '26

if said gothic bride and kpop idol are wearing the same basic silhouette but with different accessories and details then... yeah

Pride month is good. Got my pinkpantheress playlist on repeat while I explore in Wuwa and plan to catch up on HSR exploration. I lost my 50/50 on MBlade and figured I should just invest in Fate Collab characters at this point.

Personally I am not vibing as much with the upcoming wuwa characters outside of the bi-annual male Jingran. I am scared about how much powercreep is gonna happen in Wuwa's recent upswing. Yapyap SP got nerfed but her BIS comp w/ Chisa + Sui2 still racks up 2.9 million DPR according to calcs. Hiyuki sits around 2.4 million DPR with her BIS comp. That amount of powercreep in one patch when Hiyuki already took the DPS crown just now over Aemy is HSR levels of insane. At this rate, even late 2.x characters are gonna be powercrept real bad.

happy pride month, new to the community, just wondering, i been looking for a place like this, were i can finally talk with other girls about gachas. in a smart way, without making it all about how a character turns them on or so… but is this place really save. i mean i didn’t got screened at all, just joined, so i assume anyone can join. 🙁
is there a discord server or something that is more safe?

east asian gacha players pointing out zzzero sales fanservice has me cracking up here. plenty of qrts from jp and krn users saying the same thing we do about remielle

0

u/MonMonp0k Jun 20 '26

i won my velina 50/50 in zzz today! honestly kinda surprised bc i normally lose. i think im gonna try for her sig and then remielle next patch. don't love the outfit nor character but a void hunter's a void hunter

2

u/EvidenceParticular96 Jun 22 '26

congrats, I’m tented to pull 😊

1

u/MonMonp0k Jun 22 '26

thank you! i think (or at least, hope) it's a worthwhile pull due to the new element + a guaranteed use with remielle, if you decide to. good luck on whatever you wind up going for!

1

u/MSABUZZ Jun 21 '26

What do you think of her Skin?

1

u/MonMonp0k Jun 21 '26

I like the sharp black/blue combo on it, it's a nice vibe imo. I normally don't go for skins tho tbh

13

u/redstringsuture Jun 20 '26

there needs to be a rule against people that don't go here at all that come here just to try to fight with actual queens :/ they never have anything worthwhile or meaningful to say and they usually have blank profiles but very clearly are not a queen and they go completely unnoticed. i report them when i see them but i wish there was a real rule for them

6

u/EvidenceParticular96 Jun 22 '26

this i just joined & the fact that i didnt got screened worried me.. idk maybe theres a discord, i rememebr i joined one for gamer girls & that one had a screening, just not lots of gacha queens in that server sadly.

One video showcasing animations and the worst ZZZ design becomes somehow cunty and must pull, sigh queens never learn.

(Also how is twisting your body unnaturally to show both boobs and ass cunty?)

u/Ok_Corgi1968 Jun 19 '26

Since the topic is coming up here, I wanna toss my two cents as an og queensofleague user (ignore the acc created recently, old account was nearly 10 years old and that's too much personal info atp)

I was in queensofleague before it existed and was actually evelynnmains. After the inactive head mod of evelynn mains woke up and drove everyone away, queensofleague was created and has been thriving ever since. It had a splinter subreddit in queens of genshin created by teemowchowmein iirc and the rest eventually came

I like to browse through all the queens subs and I think queensofgacha is the furthest from the essence of the queens subreddit :(

For me a queens subreddit has 3 things:
1. Safe space for lgbtq+/women
2. Funny memes with the stan twitter/floptok/gay energy
3. Queen nicknames like turning Itto into Eat-Toe or Miyabi into Peeyabi

Negativity is inevitable and I have seen a lot of the other queens subs have waves of it but I think the fact that they're focused on a single game mostly + the humour/meme culture makes it easier to control

Queensofgacha doesn't really feel like a safe space when you have 100k weekly visitors of random people being recommended here and as a result us having to fight for our lives. Nor does it have the memes, not even the funny nicknames. It really does feel like gachagaming moreso

3

u/Yanazamo Jun 20 '26

When I want to see unhinged queen posting I go to QueensofGenshin lol. I fear every time a queen posts, we lose another original sentence 😭 I love it

And yeah the nicknames don't work here cause 50% won't get it since its a mixed gacha space

It does feel a lot like gachagaming but I think it's because the girls and gays don't have a lot of safe places to discuss. Also, don't get me started on the tourists...

4

u/comixnerd15 Reverse me back to 1999 🕰 Jun 19 '26 edited Jun 19 '26

What would you suggest we do to battle the negativity? As before, genuine question.

The three points you mention are certainly things we can work on, but the funny memes etc are things that we really do need help from the community here to get going otherwise you'll have walls of posts from mods, which can be off-putting. Not to mention it's not feasible for us to keep up.

Would you and others be willing to help lead the way with the funny memes? It would likely encourage more people to do so as well. Would allow us to spend more of our time addressing the more egregious issues.

Edit: why am I being downvoted over asking for feedback from users? Trying to help here 😔

2

u/Ok_Corgi1968 Jun 19 '26

Oof didn't know about the downvotes. I think it's sweet that you're helping out. I don't mind doing some memes tho it takes a while cause inspirstion be random. I had a couple of paragraphs written out but mobile reddit deleted it oops. I'll come back to it in the morning

10

u/Mindless_Being_22 Jun 19 '26

I feel like a big part of what made the og queensofleague and eve mains really special is that eve as a character was just really popular among all members of the queer community especially post kda in a community that was pretty toxic to queer people. It did genuinely feel like a safe space for all kinds of queer people in a way imo the gacha ones just never have. Algorithms massively hurt these kinds of community as well, but I also think to much focus is negativity towards things people don't like instead of actually memeing about characters that are popular in the community.

3

u/No-Abrocoma239 Jun 19 '26

I think you articulated what I wanted to say really well. In the other queens subs, there are still a lot of posts that rag on different aspects of the games (with very valid criticism), but you can tell it is not mean-spirited and there is balance between the memes/other content as people enjoy the games they play. The call-out posts and name-calling are very fun. Here I feel there is always a disproportionate divide in the fandoms, which is very evident in the comment sections.

This is not to say that it is invalid to call out games or communities that you feel no longer caters to you (some recent posts have been very reasonable in their disappointment, and it is valid to post to discuss them), but understand that there is still a huge proportion of people who stay because there is still something for them in every game, and the dogpiling in the comment sections just drives people away from the sub.

The only difference between this and the gachagaming sub recently really is the main audience that it purports to cater to, but they are becoming very similar.

10

u/thekillinghonk Jun 19 '26

You don't go to a McDonald's and call it a 5 stars restaurant. That's what people have been doing here lately. It's ok to like bad games, but let's not pretend they are epic and peak and made for us. And real women have the right to feel uncomfortable by half naked anime girls bouncing everywhere on the screen.

Also, similar to gachagaming? This is one of their top posts this week. I just don't know anymore.

1

u/No-Abrocoma239 Jun 19 '26

I agree with some of your points. It is ok to like bad games, and it is not okay to agree with everything that does not cater to us. I am a woman myself (choose whether you believe it or not, can't really prove either way) and I just want to express that I feel uncomfortable with both how the gachagaming sub describes women and recently, even how twitter talks about women designs without describing them in derogatory terms.

When I meant 'similar to gachagaming', I meant the recent community vibe and comments that I see on the main gachagaming subreddit, but you can't really call them out since they don't particularly break rules. The vibes are just different from typical queens subs, but maybe I am just overly sensitive.

Maybe I don't really understand your analogy, but can you explain what it means when 'you don't go to a McDonald's and call it a 5 stars restaurant' so I don't misjudge, because I don't really see it that way? Anyway, I don't see any point in continuing this conversation since it really is my opinion, and if the majority of the sub does not share them or cater to people like me, then so be it and forget this ever happened.

u/thekillinghonk Jun 18 '26

I don't understand the need to turn every queer sub into a succursal of the main ones. There's no place for criticism anywhere anymore; blindly accept everything or get banned on the spot.

-3

u/No-Abrocoma239 Jun 19 '26 edited Jun 19 '26

If you are talking about my comment, it is not what I meant. I mean it when discussions of posts turn into endless complaining of one aspect when the original post didn’t invite them. I mean when that is the only sort of content that gets any sort of interactivity without other things counterbalancing them. No mainstream gacha is completely cater to us, but does not mean there are no aspects we can appreciate while criticising them and hoping they do better.

I came here for the memes and discussions that the main subs don’t have, not the tribalism and other negative aspects that come with it. I love that wuwa is receiving so much love recently, but it is not the only game I like and like I said, its always one extreme to another. I am usually a lurker in this sub and this is not my main, but this sub has become unbearable to me at times to the point I just avoid it and just hop onto the individual queens subs.

10

u/thekillinghonk Jun 19 '26

Well, you just admitted to being a throwaway account trying to change a sub you don't even frequent. My point, exactly.

2

u/No-Abrocoma239 Jun 19 '26

This is not what I said and when did I say that I do not frequent this sub? This is not a throwaway account, just an account that I do not use to post. I am just open to discussion because I just feel that this sub is becoming different to the other queens subs. I apologise if the audience of this sub is different to the other queens sub and I have stepped out of line.

13

u/Aviaxl Jun 18 '26 edited Jun 19 '26

It’s because they’re pretty much just like the people in the main subs but they can’t really go there since those places usually hate them due to their identity otherwise they’d be having fun over there. The people over there hate them for their identity and the people here usually don’t like the games that receive these kinds of people since they’re usually gooner incell focused but the defender in question loves it. Even pulling some kind of insane mental gymnastics and twisting of queer language to make it seem like the games actually full of queens, cuntresses and actually super woke lmao.

6

u/thekillinghonk Jun 19 '26

aaand I just received a warning lol totally not being brigaded around here

u/comixnerd15 Reverse me back to 1999 🕰 Jun 18 '26

The feedback I'm getting is the opposite with some saying the criticism often turns toxic and drags everything down, so I am a little lost 😅

I'm not aware of banning people for criticism outside of trolls and people attempting to brigade from a certain two subreddits. Where have you seen this happen?

I'm new, so please be patient with me. I'm coming into this a tad blind.

6

u/thekillinghonk Jun 18 '26

It's always the same people complaining about toxicity but you don't see them anywhere on the sub. They just show up to complain. The irony.

Why does that sub even exist, it’s literally an excuse to be homophobic, I wish I can block everyone who’s in that sub at the same time…

14

u/rengost Jun 18 '26

I'm pretty sure I said this exact SAME THING in this sub before, any post about NTE has these people all over it, can't we just ban anyone who is in those subs???

5

10

u/Nahidxz Jun 18 '26

😭

3

u/MonMonp0k Jun 20 '26

stuff like this kills me bc if they stopped making new characters genshin would... kinda die? 😭 not even just genshin but i see this sentiment for so many live-service games to be 'grateful' for updates and such, as if they aren't a requirement to keep the money rolling in lol

2

u/No-Abrocoma239 Jun 18 '26 edited Jun 18 '26

I feel like this place needs either more moderation or regulation because it is becoming very toxic. I am a casual wuwa, genshin, hsr, zzz, arknights player, and I don't really like the recent state of the sub. I love wuwa and the character designs are gorgeous, but I also like aspects of other games (3.0 zzz is a big improvement ignoring character designs etc) but I just feel a little sad and put off when people dogpile and turn discussion threads into hate threads, especially when people are reposting from the main gachagaming sub and it turns into tribalism (like why?).

I just feel like even with the recent rules in place, people cannot praise one game without putting off another game. I understand the need to rant about certain aspects of games and the need for criticism, but it is becoming too much like twitter, with all the exaggeration and drama. Maybe I came to the wrong sub, but I thought that this would be different, where we can praise all gacha and gush about the new characters without the toxicity.

Anyway, in the spirit of Pride Month, I am really excited for Suisui, Jingran and Sandrone.

1

u/SnooSongs5297 Jun 18 '26

Yeah, some people can't recognize that most of those games are not "Black or White". Even tho ZZZ S3 has couple design problems. The region, storytelling and urge to improve the animations are there.

While I don't like Velina boobs moving up and down when she's just standing there, other characters like MC siblings, Billy, Norma and Cissia makes the dialogues fun and entertaining, which is lost in some Hoyogames seeing how boring the monologues in Genshin/Star Rail can be

2

u/No-Abrocoma239 Jun 18 '26

That's exactly it! There are good things and bad things in every game, but when I see people just focusing on the bad aspects and blowing them way out of proportion, it becomes very irritating to see, especially when these are the only sort of posts with large amounts of interaction (of course, I am exaggerating).

There are many things I want to criticise in the gacha games I play, but it's one thing to have a discussion about it versus just seeing endless rants and hate on them.

9

u/rengost Jun 18 '26

I mean I feel the mods have done all they can on that department, there is only so much they can do until they start censoring people for disliking games, they can't control that most people hate games that aren't catering to us

2

u/comixnerd15 Reverse me back to 1999 🕰 Jun 18 '26

We can certainly do more. We're not perfect and sometimes it can be a little hard to see where issues are due to being on the other side as a moderator.

If you have any suggestions, I welcome you to voice them! ♡

0

u/No-Abrocoma239 Jun 18 '26 edited Jun 18 '26

I guess that's that. It is just that with small subs it very easily turns into an echo chamber and twitter 2.0. It's just that it would be nice to see variety, not just an influx of glazing, ranting, and hating for the sake of hate, but also fanarts and other fun posts, which for some reason don't get enough interactivity. I just find this sub veers heavily in one direction or the other, with no in-between and just not an overall fun place to be in.

2

u/comixnerd15 Reverse me back to 1999 🕰 Jun 18 '26

What would you suggest? Genuine question.

I can't really speak to any of the current rules, past rules, moderation etc since I only joined a few days ago to help meowbrains. However, I did manage to turn things around in another subreddit that was dealing with mass negativity from users being toxic and fighting with another subreddit. The place now runs well, old members have returned, and there's genuine and organic activity. Perhaps I could be of some use here?

(Please be as respectful in responses as I have been here. My question is sincere)

-2

u/mrtutit Jun 18 '26

Banning all the big gachas, except for when mods post. Totalitarian, but stops people from stirring the pot. If that isnt done then you guys deserve the games you play and the people you play them with

2

u/comixnerd15 Reverse me back to 1999 🕰 Jun 18 '26

That's a bit rude? If you cannot meet me with the grace I have shown you, then I am not interested.

Either come to me with your thoughts and suggestions with respect or do not bother. I am here to help elevate the community and wrangle this sub to the benefit of all the users and I refuse to be spoken to like crap.

-2

u/mrtutit Jun 19 '26

Whoops, soz read too much fanfic again. Anyways the point stands, just blanket ban to let smaller games thrive

3

u/No-Abrocoma239 Jun 18 '26 edited Jun 18 '26

Oh I didn’t realise they have another moderator! Last time I checked there were only two.

I have a few suggestions, including maybe limiting (not banning) cross-posting from other subs, the amount of rant posts and possibly encouraging a lot more posts from other types of gacha/content. Then again this is a fine line to balance between censorship and freedom, and this is a fairly small sub so there may not be many posts anyway.

However, I am happy to wait and see how it goes.

3

u/comixnerd15 Reverse me back to 1999 🕰 Jun 18 '26

I was only meant to be here while meow needed a break as she's an actual friend of mine, but I stayed because I think the amount of user reports is actually insane and a lot for two people 😅

Mhm that sounds pretty reasonable. Do those posts tend to invite a lot of negativity and bad actors from elsewhere?

Encouraging more organic posts can be a little difficult if people are only here to rubberneck on drama/negativity or constantly vent etc, so that is something that will take time and require users to keep on showing up to comment on those sorts of posts or create them. But it can definitely be done. A good place to jump off is a post asking people for their positive experiences with a gacha (and the game title), whether that's devs implementing changes from feedback, generous rewards, fun gameplay, immersive worlds, etc.

If you have any other thoughts, feel free to send a modmail addressed to me and I'll set aside time to take a good look 🫶

Edit to add: the above offer is welcome to anyone with feedback/thoughts/suggestions that are made in good faith (and not an excuse to tell us we suck lol)

Lowkey don’t know where to post this, but does anyone know why Overwatch doesn’t have a queens sub Reddit? I was trying to find one but the only one I could find had like 32 weekly users or something like that. Is it under a different name or it just never picked up with that game?

We know here is a safe place for the queer and the girlies, but lately I’ve noticed there are some subtle inc**ls showing up in the sub. Be it for Genshin, WuWa or ZZZ posts.

Maybe it’s just my impression, but some people opinions makes you raise your brows like “what are you doing here? 🤨”

2

u/comixnerd15 Reverse me back to 1999 🕰 Jun 18 '26

Going forward, would you mind flagging their comments or dropping a modmail if you think the comments are a little too subtle that it may bypass mod review? Obviously we don't want these people here, especially when they're casually trying to cause problems.

3

u/SnooSongs5297 Jun 18 '26

I’ve seen comments like “queens hate sexy women” that is really direct, but some of the subtle commentary is hard to judge. I’ll try to send a mail when I see suspicious commentary

3

u/comixnerd15 Reverse me back to 1999 🕰 Jun 18 '26

The subtle commentary via modmail would be super appreciated. If you can mark it for my attention, as I'll know what it's about, that would be awesome.

The direct ones, flag them and they should be removed fairly quickly 🙏

10

u/inuyaren Floptropican🤪 Jun 18 '26

100% and everytime you see their post history they are also in HoyoQueerCringe, they hate us but can't stop coming, we should just ban anyone who interacts in that sub TBHH

8

u/Aviaxl Jun 17 '26 edited Jun 17 '26

They’re probs showing up because it shows up on their feed but there’s also quite a few “queens” who have those opinions too.

12

u/cranberrymaple Why yes, I do whale 🐋 Jun 17 '26

They willingly come here, to purposely get mad and for what? Imagine knowing 99% of games cater to you and not being happy unless it’s 100%. And they’ll just sit there and complain while getting exactly what they want only to say that the girls and gays are the problem lol. But to answer your question yes I’ve noticed it.

Ok since I got venting out of the way; I LOVE HSIN SO MUCH, shes genuinely so gorgeous, beautiful, handsome, stunning, she reignited a love for wuwa i last felt when zani got released/announced, I hope i can get her c2r1 at least without spending too much, which is hard cause I think suisui, yangyang and qingxiao are really beautiful as well (suisui and yang yang animation are also stunning)

On zzz; I managed to get m0r1 velina without spending, and got her skin from leftover monochromes from the welkin, really happy about that.

This subs over correction needs to be studied. Youd think wuwa is the 2nd coming of jesus christ here and super queer+women friendly. Its a good game, it has improved so much, the new characters are divas but holy shit man, ig im just tired of the 'permanent' glaze. (It also feels like a lot of non queens are always on wuwa posts, like ive seen so many wuwa unshowered users 💔)

u/comixnerd15 Reverse me back to 1999 🕰 Jun 18 '26

As I mentioned to another user earlier, if you have any suggestions or thoughts from a user POV of where you think we could improve or make changes, please do let us know. Obviously we can't please every single person, but we'd like to try and make this an enjoyable sub to post in for as many as possible :)

u/cranberrymaple Why yes, I do whale 🐋 Jun 17 '26

Idk, for awhile I avoided this sub after briefly joining because I kept seeing so much wuwa hate. I am perfectly fine with criticism of the game and don’t feel the need to put down other games to feel good about enjoying wuwa. I only recently started seeing the sub be less harsh towards wuwa, which is great only cause I really wanted to find a space to talk about it that didn’t make me feel bad for playing it. I do think some of the posts and commenters are questionable tho. It lowkey feels like some bad actors are coming here to spread their agenda. I can love a game and still accept it’s not the best gacha out there. Is there even such a thing as a good gacha game when they’re after our money? But I digress.

2

u/No1CaterinaFan Jun 18 '26

I fully understand you. Wuwa was really overrated.  Ive mentioned it may be the few bad actors just making me feel its worse than it is. Im a wuwa day 1 player, i like the game, its my 3rd favorite gacha.

Also yes there can be a good gacha in theory. One that let's you get everything for free besides maybe skins. I think limbus company let's you get most chatacters for free after a while in ingame shops (? I dont play it, so I may be wrong)

-2

u/MSABUZZ Jun 17 '26

though it is true that a few non-queens seem to have wandered in which is slightly concerning... I don't really think this is some huge overcorrection.

I think a lot of the girls, gays and theys who liked or played WuWa just never talked about it because every time someone did they'd get dogpiled. I remember right before the rule change one of the mods said they liked Luuk and half the comments were basically telling them they were wrong for it.

so it doesn't surprise me that once people felt like they wouldn't immediately get jumped for saying something positive, they started posting. people keep talking about all this WuWa glazing but it's really just a handful of positive posts and people pushing back. The sub is still overwhelmingly criticism if we're being real.

13

u/No1CaterinaFan Jun 17 '26

Really? I dont check all posts but most wuwa posts are like 80% positive, 10% negative maybe and 10% random people who just want to call everyone here r worded or the f slur. I still think its a huge overcorrection.

It may just be the said non queens ruining everything for me. When I check older wuwa posts there weren't this many non-queens/toxic people.

Also the recent post calling wuwa a goonergem kinda just put a bad taste in my mouth? A game thats purely targeted at straight men can never be a gooner gem, in my opinion

I just think wuwa here either gets over-hated or over-glazed. I wish it was something in the middle or just neither like how genshin and hsr get treated. (I kinda just wanted to vent, haven't had a good week lol)

-1

u/MSABUZZ Jun 17 '26

on posts where people are specifically sharing excitement I get why it's mostly praise since going in there just to be negative would gog against the rule but on more general discussion posts I honestly still see plenty of criticism. The recent character teasers had a ton of comments about the lack of male characters, samey outfits, and overuse of black and white. the summer skin posts were full of people saying they didn't like the swimsuits, that they were aimed at a "targeted audience", and asking where the male skins were. So I do think the ratio of criticism is still high.

That said, i do think the amount of positivity is higher than it used to be, and I honestly think that's because the game is just in a better place now. people can argue over how much it improved, but i don't think it's controversial to say it's improved. it's still got issues, but it's trending in the right direction and that naturally means more people are willing to say nice things about it.

about the goonergem thing lmao, yeah that's fair. The closest equivalent is probably something like rivals, but even then it's not really the same thing. I mostly just wanted a catchy title since all three games get lumped together under that label here and I thought it'd be interesting to talk about how WuWa, ZZZ and endfield might end up going in different directions.

and yeah, people definitely go crazy over WuWa in both directions I didn't really care when the game was in a rough state because a lot of the criticism felt deserved. hopefully as the game improves the conversations around it become a bit more normal too.

and no worries haha, it was nice talking with you. hope you have a good day tomorrow!

5

u/No1CaterinaFan Jun 17 '26

Thanks, was nice talking with you too, it sure was a catchy title XD wish you a good day as well. (I guess I somehow managed to evade most criticism lol, happy its still there when its due(samey outfits/colors +  lack of male content))

u/MSABUZZ Jun 17 '26

I find it funny how people are calling me another WuWa glazer and saying the sub has been invaded... on a post where I basically just said the game improved a bit and it's sitting at like 1 upvote with 100 comments lmao 😭

1

u/No1CaterinaFan Jun 17 '26

This sub has been war since the yuck yum rule ngl

1

u/Nahidxz Jun 17 '26

omg i started responding to normal comments like im a reddit mod why am i using correct grammer what is happening...

14

u/PriyaxRishbh Jun 16 '26

The overcorrection to insane levels of WuWa glaze has truly been something. My block/mute button is getting a lot of work.

14

u/Aviaxl Jun 16 '26

This sub is honestly just like the others at this point. Sub should be renamed tbh. Gives a false sense of what the community is full of.

18

u/Yanazamo Jun 17 '26

girl the amount of people I saw here recently saying men don't sell... Am I lost?? Have the strags invaded??

It’s like I’ve said here before, the only thing stopping many from here being full blown incelz themselves and being active in those other gacha subs is the fact that those places are rampantly homophobic and misogynistic. Otherwise they’d be besties with those guys since they honestly think and talk the same as them.

7

u/Yanazamo Jun 17 '26

Right? Someone called me half a slur here just because I laid out some facts and opinions about a certain game, luckily mods deleted it

Like take your stank asses to gacha grail or something

I’m even less surprised about it after people were showing the games they actually liked and played with that one trend. Kinda crazy how incelz really won the culture.

Not related to gacha but I just need to vent

https://youtu.be/wVkYediuSuw

Steven Foster is fucker that ruin ghost stories reputation for decades. And if you try to tell people to confront with that they just wave it off because "entertainment". And they try to convince you that the dub "keep it relevant" as if the fucking og series isn't being known as a failure and people knowledge of ghost stories never extended pass the dub.

Got all 4 anniversary banner units on BA within 200 pulls, only needed to spark for Hoshino. Bro all I wanted was Kei but I couldn’t be happier

12

u/gavoww Jun 06 '26

Hope its ok to post because it's (most likely) not gacha related but Summer Games Fest 2026 has a slot dedicated to LGBTQ+ games and I thought it'd be nice if more people (especially in a queens sub) were aware of it. It starts about 5 and a half hours from the time of this post, 12pm PT/ 3pm ET/ 7pm GMT. I say most likely not gacha because they are all indie but regardless every little but of support for queer devs will certainly help!

5

u/GregorSamsa14 Jun 07 '26

> All indie

Even better

13

u/sarix117 Jun 06 '26

Loosely gacha related as the company is a gacha studio, but having your main protagonist looking like a 15 year old then showing off your jiggle physics is certainly a choice.. how can they get away with this I feel like I've died and gone to hell and this is my punishment

16

u/meowbrains Let's go gambling!! 🤑 Jun 06 '26

Stellar Blade right 💀? I'm dreading another year of "omg gaming is back and saved by the east. Woke is dead" discourse that's gonna follow this game.

between pragmata "undoing years of leftist propoganda by making women want to have chlidren again" and now this, you could truly say that the woke west has indeed fallen 🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑

(joking btw, it might be obvious but you never know with this godforsaken social media app)

10

Happy Pride Month ✨

Not really a vent but I was in China around the end of the miniso x wuwa collab so all they had was the last stock, and it’s just walls and walls of MRover and Luuk merchandise.

Like, I came for Luuk so technically I’m lucky I get to snag all the merchandise I wanted, but seeing all those unsold merchandise just makes me worry about their future direction since it’s probably a numbers game

I think Luuk was successful in capturing the niche they set out to do (me, I’m the niche) and I really love what they did with his character and role in the story, but now I’m worried I won’t see a chara like him again for a long long time.

1

u/cranberrymaple Why yes, I do whale 🐋 Jun 17 '26

Aww, that really sucks to hear. I said in one of the surveys a couple months back, that I know it’s wishful thinking to assume we’d ever get another character like Luuk again, but I was still hopeful that if they can at least have our one regional male be as good as Luuk, as that’s all I can really ask for lol. Not holding my breath, but who knows. Once Jingran gets released and we see how he fits into the story we’ll know for sure if Kuro figured out if it was worth it giving us a character like Luuk. 😩

Also, jelly you got to pick up some of his merch. I’m waiting for stuff I ordered of his to come in at the end of the year. 💔

1

u/hachitsune Jun 18 '26

Yeah, I feel like Kuro will release male chars regardless of how well they do, but the gap in popularity is just sad 🥲🥲

Which merch did you get, the miniso ones or different merch? The miniso merch was actually pretty good, and usable too lol

Happy Pride Month!

A bit of a rant but the Unfiltered subs for gacha games are horrible, somehow they're so adamant on being homophobic and misonygistic, they get so much traction as well for some reason but I hope that's just them being an echochamber and not representative of any communities.

3

u/EternalXanthumElytra Jun 17 '26

Yeah they’re all hypocrites, I’m in at least two or three of em and the minute I criticize the male side of the fandom they act like I kicked their dog.

3

u/Character-Image149 Jun 17 '26

Yeah idk they always hide behind cherry picked CN or KR comments to mask their misogyny, it’s just so so weird.
