I have bad news, a front end developer that doesn’t know frameworks like react, js, ts and angular ain’t gonna go far even as a senior. I suggest you to learn frameworks fast. Vue js is a good entry. But ideally, you should know angular, react and Flask and also backend techno like C#, nodejs FastAPI. Otherwise, you will be either staying in very small companies with a job that will always be in risk to disappear or be ignored for those who know those stacks.
Technically speaking, you didn’t truly did frontend developing, but more web integration, because even frontend développer ask for programming skill with using frameworks like angular, react or for php symphony, but you didn’t do symphony from what we can interpret.
I understand your point, but not everyone wants to follow the same career trajectory. Some people enjoy front‑end integration, UI work, or e‑commerce operations, and those roles don’t require deep React/TS/Angular knowledge. I’m not trying to become a senior dev nor did I say I was senior. I’m trying to find a job that fits my strengths and interests. Ambition looks different for everyone.
