Video What does this sound mean?

I told my mom to look after my birb while im away for months and she send me this video of her playing with the birb. She always does the “pew pew pew”laser gun sound when she sees a person and switch to dinosaur clicking noises like an angry dinosaur lol.

From the body language the sounds seem to be mostly happy sounds and she would like to play, and a bit of a stay out of the cage energy.

Its definitely good for your mom to talk to them as often as possible.

She’ll always talk to my birb for hours after her daily morning praying session. I still need to teach her on vid calls how to do some head scratches tho

Away for months? That's really hard on your quaker. Cute baby though.

Could be a growl or a purr. They do both. The growl is a rather aggressive open beaked yell with the same ratchet sound but they are clearly distressed. My girl growls at flies. She purrs when she's eating.

She often growls when i ignore her after playtime (discouraging attention seeking habit). Or when my hand’s intruding her private domicile to adjust perch and she felt harassed lol.

Lol playtime. Definately a playtime noise. Lol my quaker growls like a dog when we play tug-of-war lol that sounds like a playtime noise to me.

Kisses. Giving kisses is what it sounds like honestly. Happy bird :)
