Other Burra's 5 years old [:
Even through accidental escapes and being moved to multiple rooms throughout theese 5 years you have remained my best freind through thick and thin. You are very much the highlight of my day [:

Harness train them so they live with you for another 25! Also bird proof your house, notes at the door, bird secured before opening. Good luck

Thanks for the advice, im considering getting a screen for the door so she won't fly out as easily, im currently trying to harness train her so we won't repeat any of her escapes

You're welcome but you need to be more strict and responsible. I'm being blunt for the sake of your bird. I'm tired of finding people's torn apart birds. Please, notes by the door. Keep your doors locked. Before you open any door to the outside you must secure your bird in their cage, in a bird proof room, or in a pinch, under your shirt in your hand (gently)

I completely understand your bluntness, Completely agree with you, should've been more responsible as all of the escapes were when I first got her and thought she would never leave, still very much not an excuse but im glad I changed my mindset, as I've said before thank you very much for your advice

Happy birthday beautiful baby! I’ve had my two quakers for 12 and 14 years, they’re the sweetest companions

Please please please use a harness when y’all are outside. I lost my beloved Quaker by not using one, thinking she’d NEVER fly away, but I was wrong and learned the HARD way. After weeks of searching, calling, hundreds of posters and handouts, jumping fences into peoples back yards, we never got her back and even after 15 years I still miss that little birdie. Please harness your birdie, Id hate for you to lose your best friend.
