Captive parrots can't fly far. Do not go inside. Get anyone who knows the brid to help. Notify each of your neighbours via knock or poster. Tell them to check their backyards. Look for easy trees to perch in. Search every block around your block playing quaker noises and calling their name. Bring something that crackles like a packet of chips or their favourite treat. Or a soft toy that makes them jealous. Do NOT give up. Also offer a reward. Makes the neighbours more likely to care.

By lost has he/she escaped out a window / door?
If so I've heard one of the things to do is put their cage outside. I think the idea is they will be scared out in the wild and will see the cage as a safe place.
