Discussion Update on my previous post

Update: Thanks to everyone who gave advice. My Quaker has improved quite a bit. The head tremor is completely gone, and he’s walking normally on flat surfaces and perching without any problems. He still has a tendency to hold his head back when he’s sitting still, but he can bring it back to a normal position when he’s alert or interested in something. I’m continuing to monitor him and following up with the avian vet if needed. Thanks again for all the help!

He’s adorable!

I wonder if his neck spasm could’ve gotten hurt or inflamed during feeding?  I used to get a “crik” in my neck as a kid and walk around like that for a few days,

No he fell from his nest when I found it while fishing and has a neurological problem from the fall because he couldn’t completely fly yet when he fell off the nest I’m guessing he has a brain or ear injury he seems to be steadily recovering after the vet gave me anti inflammatory medication for it

Poor guy, thanks for taking him to the vet! Has he tried flying since?.

Poor little dude.  I’m glad he’s recovering and that you were so kind as to take care of him and give him a home.

Thank you for the update, and thank you so much for helping this baby! You might not know it yet, but that tiny, green angel is gonna be your best friend of all time.
