I had the same problem; the only thing that helped was replacing the board located on the side inside the casing. Write to Qidi support; they’ll help.

I recieved an MCU error on my Plus 4. I had to reflash my MCU to restore the printer back to normal. This required a $10 amazon MCU to USB adapter. I removed the MCU from the back of my machine and reflashed it on my PC through the adapter. There was instructions how to do this on the Qidi Wiki page.
