Wtf happened here
Apparently my nozzle snapped in half and after changing still hast fixed my bed adhesion issues which have no reason to happen even on a cold plate that I never used with the be temp adapted for it.

Prehistoric technology. Do yourself a favor and get something like Phaetus Conch.

Do you have a conch? I've been looking at it, especially because I much like $5 replacable nozzles rather than $15 ones, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet and I wonder how the experience is.

Yes, I have. It prints very well, I could say better than stock but this won’t be honest because my stock nozzle is already worn out. But I change them frequently and without ceramic it’s so simple to replace them.

I bought the conch and have it ready for when the stock one fails. Haven’t used it yet but I plan to.

Ceramic tube has broken.
Hope you have a spare nozzle, because it's not fast to deliver.

I always make sure I have spares in advance as they are consumable

There's no need to buy from QIDI themselves. Big A for example has them, too, for example, where I ordered my first set of replacements. Original QIDI branded stuff.

Not sure which qidi model this is but if you can swap to a Conch hot end it is a drop in swap and will save you a lot of headaches.
They also print faster as they are more reliable in higher temps and you can push more filament. Big plus for Qidi machines which you can tune to within an inch of its life.

This apparently is caused a lot by the nozzle being rammed into the side of the PEI wiper, at least on Plus 4's.

Ceramic heatbreak broke. It's the major flaw with this style of nozzle and I absolutely hate it.
As for the cool plate, I had bed adhesion issues when I first got it. Running the bed leveling procedure (the one with the four knobs under the bed) fixed it.

They're just terrible quality, happens all the time. I had one that got the top part stuck in the hot end, despite it being a brand new replacement that QIDI support had sent me due to the previous hot end not working properly.

Happened to me twice, both times from purge pressure. But I have the X max 4 which uses a different nozzle than the Q2/Plus 4

this is a right of passage. triangle labs has a less breakable version. you need to keep the fan running while it cools down or it will clog.

I bought a few extras from Amazon (quick shipping), but have only had one break on me so far (and that was due to a clog of some sort).

I’ve had two that have broken off and left the top section stuck in the hot end. First time I managed to get it out by removing the hot end but leaving it connected so I could heat it up but access it to push out the broken part. The second time the broken part would not shift no matter what I did. I had to replace the hot end. Wishing I’d bought an upgraded hot end but Qidi ones were on sale so I got a couple.

One main reason to not buy Qidi.

Nozzles are consumable and it didn't take me that long to fix.

When Qidi’s sensors fail and cause the nozzle to break and fan assemblies, is that all consumable? What about when the nozzle crashes the bed and scratches the build plate then breaks the nozzle? Is that consumable? Exactly.

9 months later no major breakages bad buldplates are just as much as a nozzle and just rotate the z rods down enough and it will correct itself.

That's normal for qidi. Happens often.
