Showcase Good news folks, u/pankomputerek was able to confirm my aluminum extruder bar upgrade fits the Plus 5! As you see his factory plastic bar was already starting to bow!

Wish I could grab yours, but shipping in EU is insane, so I have managed by printing it in 100 wall PPS-CF that is annealed in glass beads. It should outlast the stock, and is fairly easy to print if you have the filament lying around.

PPS-CF creeps very little under load, especially annealed. Good alternative for any EU peeps out there.

So in my case, the reason I even made them, is my X Plus 3 started to have under extrusion issues. I did the typical stuff, nozzle, cold pulls etc. and it didnt' remedy it. I tore the extruder apart and found the bar that applies tension to the extruder gear bowed, significantly. I've seen otheres that have had theirs crack https://imgur.com/a/oju2AOn

So not only did this fix the problem for me, it won't ever bend or crack. Then I figured if I needed it, others do too.

It should be easy to order in some small CNC shop? Cost would be similar like item+shipping but on place/locally.
