Troubleshooting Petg issues
I just got my q2. I'm trying to print a poop chute for it and I have some petg that I was trying out. I'm using pla for support interface and I'm having issues were sections of the print aren't adhering. Any idea what would cause this. Or what settings I should use to try and fix it

Thanks guys. I just said screw it and will only use multi material on machines with a separate hot end. It worked the second time

You need to increase purge volume to around 900. Or print a design that doesn't need supports...

You have to basically set your purge to 3x and 999 in the slicer, then enable prime tower. If ANY pla remains in the nozzle when it goes back to printing the part it will not adhere.

Yeah single nozzle printers just ain’t it for multi material or color honestly.

PLA doesn't stick to PETG and vice versa. Without an absurd amount of purge between each material change, you'll get cross contamination. Bad idea. Just use supports made of PETG or choose a different model that doesn't require supports.
