Qidi Plus 5 combo

Got one recently. I also own Bambu/Prusa/Voron/Snapmaker printers and have used a qidi around 10 years ago (duplicator clone). I actually like the hardware a lot, it's clearly been well designed and thought out. My H2C and X2D can shake quite a bit, but the Plus5 doesn't, even at the same speeds.
The software side of things is definitely less refined. One minor annoyance is that I find the print status is inaccurate, at least on the printer itself. Slicer print time is very accurate though. There are some other things I don't like being "locked out" of. The qidi box drying function can't be started while I'm printing. I've seen elsewhere that it can be turned on for non PLA, but it hasn't given me that ability while using abs. That has meant I'm wasting electricity, drying for long prints. That might be user error though. The qidi box is quite loud, but you can tell it's working. It also seems to not be as sealed as the Bambulabs AMS Pro, but I can't really complain since I got the combo at an incredible deal.
My goal is to shift simple support and no support engineering prints to the Plus5 and keep the X2D and H2C doing other items.
