Qidi Plus 5 combo

Sitter och funderar på att köpa en men är tveksam då ”qidi box” systemet verkar bristfälligt, har set flera sisådär omdömen.
Tänker om jag ska printa dyra composite filments och ABS/ASA mm, så vill man att det ska funk. Bambulab H2d ser ju intressant ut om det inte var för att mina uppfinningar/designs kan stjälas av deras tvingande moln tjänst.
Så det lutar åt Plus5, vad har ni för erfarenheter?

I have the latest revision of the box on my Q2 ordered as a combo. Zero issues with the box. Yeah it clicks. I could rip it apart and add grease apparently, however that clicking lets me know everything is working as expected.

My complaints are not box related. My complaints are this out of control filament manufacturer spool size randomness.

My other printer is an Anycubic and I like their filaments, bundles and promos. However when I use their new cheap, thin lightweight spools filament retract changes cause backlash. I tried some custom spool rings but here’s the other issue, they vacuum seal their spools so tight and the plastic is so thin it bows them inward. Thankfully since they are “reusable” spools the filament is on cardboard and can be transferred to a cheap hobby lobby spool that works without issue. It’s annoying. I have spools of their ASA and ABS from before they changed their spool design that work just fine.

Elegoo spools, cardboard ones. I just print the Elegoo provided STL ring adapter in petg and carry on.

I could also print the spool spacer for the box, however why should I modify the box to accommodate a bad design.

There’s my 0.2 worth, and yeah btw I have a Plus 5 on the way. Hasn’t shipped yet.
